There could be a problem with either the alpha map of this ground texture or the mesh settings. Because it is so clear cut.
Terrain parallax could also got be a factor.

Sweet pics though, I really like the progress you made over the years.

Some of your lods seem to be cut in the middle, try some on nexus, maybe a different version of flora overhaul helps.
