Dat sharpening. :) (Usually bugs my eyes, but it looks great in your shots. Especially on that tree trunk.)

:lol: Well it's hardly finished...actually I've never finished any preset I've worked on :oops: It's just the enbeffect, bloom and effect.txt files from The Wilds ENB, plus the SweetFX from your Kountervibe Reborn and your Screenarchery Default Q7 DoF. With just a vanilla enbseries file that I'm tweaking. I can make it appear better than what it really is by setting up the screenshots.
After using this for a little while, I think I like more things from some of my past presets I've worked on, especially interiors.
But like a few have said on here, there is no perfect preset...but it does look like Confidence Man could be getting close :P

OhKay and chan

Nice grass shots :)

mindflux

Yeah, I haven't tweaked the sky at all yet...too much cyan is right. But if you thought that was overpowering, check out some of these shots at sunset...definitely not realistic :P

Also, I'm not sure if it's an old bug or something else, but when I use a high IL value I get this in first-person with weapon drawn:

This should be totally dark. It doesn't happen in third-person either. It's like my weapon is a mirror or something.

@wrien
Way to much noise due to the over sharpening

@Confidence-Man
Nice shots :)
the last one looks almost like the sword would block the darkness from the right side reaching the left side lol ;)
hmm like the light hits the sword blade which specular reflects out like you said a mirror and becomes the candle, pretty nice though if you get it better under control :)
Though im not sure if the light source is actually the candle though if you say it should be absolute dark then their most probably is no other point or spot light in the region and it seems it's reflecting the point light of the candle :)

You know this effect if you take a mirror or another high specular object hold it into the sun and redirect the light the light depending on the source and material will have different effects on its destination, so you might get a diffused light result.
But im not even sure if this can work with ENB (looking @ your picture though it seems to work) and if @ all wouldn't it need reflections to be active combined with IL and a very high specular surface like the sword in this case ?

I guess the effect looks odd here because we expect the sword to shine and maybe even reflecting the candle (depending on the viewpoint) and due to it's looking so matt rendered it becomes strange, this is btw also a problem i have in my last shots the material result doesn't keep up and make things feel odd :)

Gionight and some others showed some nice screenshots where you actually could see reflections on the Metal sword surface being rendered this is missing here.
Practically all of these shots where though direct light exterior shots i didn't saw this yet in a interior shot working, except on the ground in one shoot here where the window got reflected by setting the reflection param.
Im currently trying to reproduce this for the armor i currently use in my last shoot :)

Though expect a big render slowdown with reflections if you get the reflection on the sword working in this case ;)

Btw what is the NPCs name in the 3rd shot or is this your Character ?

I know realism is overestimated, but I can almost imagine the overpowering red sunset in your last batch of shots, however I have hard time figuring out when the ambiance would be so cyan... I know, I'm just making excuses and I'm allergic to cyan :lol:

wrien, I really like the look :)

symphonicjohn, I like the colors of your settings, they keep the game looking like fantasy/RPG while adding detail. The sunset is very cool.

Confidence-Man, check your SSS and reflection settings. Those, combined with direct light power, really affect IL and how it spreads.

mindflux, as always, great lighting!

@CruNcher

THe DOF adds a lot of sharpening. It's not my DoF, i'm basing my preset a lot on another enb (Stakado Cinemascope ENB), so i haven't decided which DOF to use yet. Using some of the effects from it, while making it compatiple with a newer enb-version, and fitting to my own taste. I have changed the enbseries.ini file a lot tho:). With the DoF disabled it looks quite balanced. The third image is with DOF disabled:)
