Nice shots :)
the last one looks almost like the sword would block the darkness from the right side reaching the left side lol ;)
hmm like the light hits the sword blade which specular reflects out like you said a mirror and becomes the candle, pretty nice though if you get it better under control :)
Though im not sure if the light source is actually the candle though if you say it should be absolute dark then their most probably is no other point or spot light in the region and it seems it's reflecting the point light of the candle :)

You know this effect if you take a mirror or another high specular object hold it into the sun and redirect the light the light depending on the source and material will have different effects on its destination, so you might get a diffused light result.
But im not even sure if this can work with ENB (looking @ your picture though it seems to work) and if @ all wouldn't it need reflections to be active combined with IL and a very high specular surface like the sword in this case ?

I guess the effect looks odd here because we expect the sword to shine and maybe even reflecting the candle (depending on the viewpoint) and due to it's looking so matt rendered it becomes strange, this is btw also a problem i have in my last shots the material result doesn't keep up and make things feel odd :)

Gionight and some others showed some nice screenshots where you actually could see reflections on the Metal sword surface being rendered this is missing here.
Practically all of these shots where though direct light exterior shots i didn't saw this yet in a interior shot working, except on the ground in one shoot here where the window got reflected by setting the reflection param.
Im currently trying to reproduce this for the armor i currently use in my last shoot :)

Though expect a big render slowdown with reflections if you get the reflection on the sword working in this case ;)

Btw what is the NPCs name in the 3rd shot or is this your Character ?

Reflections are actually off in those pics, and that particular candle doesn't have a light. The effect is completely independent of any light source, in fact. I'm thinking it has something to do with the way first-person models are rendered, like they're considered "lit" regardless of any other lighting, so they cause the IL effect if it's turned up too high.

That NPC is the maid in Helga's Bunkhouse in Riften.

Come on, give the old man a bit of slack :lol:

Upon exiting the said dungeon our hero observes that saturation is getting out of hand...

Maybe prayers will help. I've been trying to balance out these glow effects, they seemingly aren't controlled by any parameter:

I ended up having to severely darken everything with the palette, and double every intensity setting to try and get the same look.

@OhKay I am guessing some of those pics are taking by Valthume. I was wondering what plant/flower mod you are using? Those vanilla or what. I ask because in that area I have these plants and hate the white flowers and the glow they give off. I am using Skyrim Flora Overhaul I think it is from, could be the 2k packs tho too.

@Confidence-Man Not sure about lights coming from in windows, but I really like the glow from fires used in this preset:

@Ohkay

Great saturation
also this Specular on the Metal looks nice the whole armor get a feel of very rough Metal :)

@Forest

some of these shots look really nice though the "motion blur" is a little heavy also the ghosting artifacts occurring @ motion look strange. Also that sometimes half of the screen is clear the rest blurred makes it feel strange.
It's really nice to see how the rendering changes especially for the hagraven you can clearly see the render difference also depending on the lod and fov it seems i wonder if this is partially also a result of the light lod fade.

For a 3rd Person Gaming Experience this would be a really nice result, how fast was this result rendered ? :)
Only problem the cloth which should be fabric feels like plastic especially on the arm also very apparent on the hagravens head (hair specular). Maybe turning down the specular shifting it can get some nicer not so apparent plastic material results, i guess for the Player characters Head (hair) we don't see it so well because of all the Blur.
The lower fabric Render result "skirt" looks much much better without any specular and only the light :)

Which cloth "armor" is this and which sword ?

Image

Overall a very nice result :)

it's a pity that we cant recall the scenes and camera setups i would really have loved to see how this turned out in 1st person :(

mindflux, thanks

Confidence-Man, i have the same issue, did not find a solution (put everything to 0 and windows still glow, not all of them). Also, i notice the aurora intensity in a Sovngarde don't refresh in a real time, and i can not control the intesity of this

(enb 155, CoT, APPLYGAMECOLORCORRECTION is disabled - maybe to enable this)

and this is from the previous config
