jrista wrote: Always loved your screenshots! Particularly these two...the realism is stunning. Quick Q. This is a downsample? What frame rate do you get with your two 770's when downsampling like this? (Been trying to get my computer to downsample, but the Apple CinemaDisplay 30" I have just doesn't like it, no matter what I do. Things look pretty good at 2560x1600, and when I use one of your "Uber" configs, I get frame rates about 8fps...but every time I see your screens, they just blow me away! You are a wizard, Oyama!) Thank you ! I'm anything but a wizard, really. It's just experimentations and messing with codes here and there. Sometimes I reach a sweet spot, and then it vanishes a second after These are downsampled from 4K (3840x2160) with crazy SSAO scales (1.58xxx) to ensure maximum consistency. My FPS are up to 10 exteriors, 17 to 20 interiors, even with a pair of 4GB 770. Decreasing SSAO scales back to 1.0 brings back a lot of frames. In playing conditions, 1620p with 0.866 or 1.0 scales does the trick, perfectly Unreal |

@Unreal: Quite refreshing to see some variation among your shots. |

Hi all Just returned from my honeymoon! Can't wait to get started on a new config. I shared my config before I left if anyone is interested. Just click the Far Off ENB icon in signature. @Unreal - your config looks really good!! @OhKay - yours is looking amazing as well! @Boris - Really like the lighting you have! Looks extremely realistic! Skin looks very real with that light! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

@Unreal: Oh, I'll have to experiment with adaptation then. I've just disabled it this entire time, or at least I've tried to. In actuality, a very small amount of adaptation seems to kick in even though min/max values are the same in enbeffect.fx, vanilla adaptation/color correction is turned off, and adaptation is disabled in enbseries.ini. @Boris: Is that improved subsurface scattering? @far237: Welcome back and congrats! |
