kaffeekranz;

A low ShadowBias value (SkyrimPrefs.ini) with ENB's DetailedShadow will render shadows in front of the eyes which creates a sort "black out" of them.

wolfgrimdark;

Well Rudy's ENB is to be accounted for the crispness of the shoot, I merely adjust the color without using any cinematic settings found in the CK apart from Skyrim blur and bloom.

Thanks for sharing the character texture mods you are using :)
Will have ago with those and see how they are in-game on my end. Will most likely need to create a new SSS texture because so far I've only encountered one mod with a good SSS map and that was from LadyBody by Krista, which is female only sadly.

Haven't heard of Urshi before, might be worth checking out.

Woodsofypress: Thank youuuu :D I was using the wrong textures etc, now I have wavy water woooo, really love how great your setup looks in different times and weathers, I presume tweaking with CK helps. I can't get to grasps with it properly, day time, clear I find easy its the rest which frustrate me :(

Confidence-Man: absolutely brilliant :mrgreen: I'm so jealous of how you manage to get skyrim to look, but it's nice to have such inspiration.

Far327: tried what you mention in relation to steam and downsampling, it doesnt show, but in fiddling I got my gpu scaling to work at 2560x1600 :D which is pretty nice. so thank you

@Evo

2nd picture is really great balanced but other results are overblowing to much in their Gamma response

something seems wrong though just looked @ the original size 4.7 mb flickr png result of that shoot the lense is very blurry, but in the small preview picture it's far away from that heavy blur factor ?

looks like badly billinear upscaled ahh sorry my fault downsampling from your x1440 resolution to x1080 Full HD, jeeze Graphics Driver and Windows Photo Viewer really do a bad job @ this my Samsung shows me the whole blurry Signal ;)

Anyways like your results except the heavy Gamma that hurts to much in some of the scenes on they eyes and makes it feel to artificial, Opethfeldt fought the same fight in the early days with texture Gamma response :)

Would love to see more TOD results of your approach :)

Also the Eye Adaption results in realtime (you using adaption aren't you) ?

@Cruncher

Well, Evo has a different look going, but I wouldn't go as far as criticizing it.
Not that there's anything wrong with mannerly criticism, but I for one really like Evo's 'overblowing' look.

@JawZ

Thanks man, I'll try that too!

/e

Mine's even higher than the default one. And I most definitely don't remember changing it.
Might be time for a *.ini reset.

Thank you Cruncher :)

I do like my clear days to be bright, not sure what you mean about the gamma response, my display it just a TV so I won't see the same results that you do on your display.

Also I don't think there is much I can do in terms of keeping any quality in the uploading stage, I use png to try and help it but even with the paid version of flickr there is compression issues it seems.

Haha Cruncher, you need to speak differently with me, I have no experience with 3d, textures, professional displays etc so not really understanding what you mean.

and is TOD time of day ?

Kaffeekranz: thank you :) I do see it as constructive criticism, just unsure of how it looks on other peoples displays. I know its very bright just don't want it to appear horribly so

@kaffekranz
Hmm if you would look @ this in realtime for a longer period of time with a HMD in front of your eyes you would get massive eyestrain problems it looks maybe nice but it's impractical for realtime use

The 2nd result though preserves this nice feeling without the overblowing issues of the other results would have been cool if you put a character with armor in that shoot facing the sun to see if it overblows again or the adaption starts to kick in to much :)

yes TOD is time of day

Most textures aren't in linear space trying to use a linear light model on them is tricky, and then you have all the mod content with it's different workflows to compensate

PS: Nope correction it's not the downsampling i had to resharpen the flickr signal it's really that heavy quantized, maybe it's your downsampling chain efficiency ?

MrRoderick - Here are people much more able than me.

Anyway, the voices of enbseriers.ini change partially in the various versions: if you add the newer .dll, I think it's better you also look at the differences in enbseries.ini from old to new, and copy and paste the voices added or modified in the new version.

Hope it helps

wolfgrimdark - Nice protaits

WoodsOfYpres - Beautiful pics (environment and portrait)

EvoFq3o0 - Even unusual, I find your choice of very bright days interesting: the climate seems very dry

Thanks for the nice words! I personally like how bright your clear days are. You kind of "feel" the daylight, just like in reality.

Thanks! :)
