@Unreal Your water looks awesome. Have you tried a darker rock texture? I think you would benefit from it because the glare of your current rocks.

Thank you :) I definitely want to release it! But i don't want to set a strict release date, that would kill the appeal of tweaking a bit for me ;) When i'm almost done i will also share something like an alpha version here on the forum. And stunning pics! Your lightning looks really well balanced.

Great pics dude! The SSAO looks really good on your pics and i also like the look of your overall direct and ambient lightning setup ;) Only thing i'd criticize about your pics is the heavy compression.

Opethfeldt
Great to see you posting again! :) I still use your older pics as a reference for AO, Skylightning and stuff like that ;)

I don't like dark rocks, i prefer the vanilla texture.

WoodsOfYpres Thank you! Means alot comming from you. The compression, I thought about. I saw that Unreal used flickr, and those look uncompressed so I tried with that. I use the ENB to take the shots and upload the .bmp's directly to flickr or imgur. What's the secret recepy?

Don't use bmp, just compress them with jpg.

Ah so I use photoshop to save them as jpg instead of letting the site do it for me. Smart. Thanks Unreal. More nice pics from you. Awesome.

Guys i need your help, i got a problem where some reflections will bloom out of control please take a look.

In these screens the reflection is from the golden glowing sword i am carrying but it can happen with a fire and anything that glows like the sun <- exception because of Boris sun parameters it can be controlled.

This is the sword.

This is what's happening.

I can fix by disabling bloom.
Image
Disabling DOF will minimize the effect.
Image
Or disabling Water.
Image
Or by setting FrennelMin to 0.00

Any ideas would be much appreciated or at least point me out to the right file to go over, for what i can tell it's a reaction with dof and bloom.

isn't the IBL overdoing it it's strange if you compare metal to reality under this shadow condition im not sure the blue tint feels totally off or at least way to much exaggerated

the way Unreal goes or the way guzio goes or the way iam going with your work all totally different directions, very exciting :)

but the hell that metal texture response isn't convincing either, without any specular it falls apart pretty fast.
