I agree the grain is a bit heavy when looking at the screenshots, though it doesn't seem as heavy when actually playing, which is what's more important for me anyway. Might tone it down a touch though. |

A couple WIP shots from my Pure ENB update. Have yet to add the bokeh, this is with 'standard' DoF: ![]()

Likely they are these mods that Superl3 has linked to thru his mod posting on Nexus. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9930 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9571 I recently started using these as well. Revamped Exterior Fog gave me a 15FPS boost! I prefer the visuals more as well. I have to agree with Thrillville. My main hurdle with configuring ENB was the Vanilla fog. I always removed it, but distant terrain and LOD looked unrealistic. Ended up giving up on my config because this bothered me too much. This offers a happy medium with a bonus FPS boost! |

This is all I've got so far, but I've combined Fedorz preset with the letterbox effect, the 'bokeh' depth of field and a FXAA injector for a pretty nice effect. This is not my work, and the credit should really go to Fedorz for his beautiful settings! ![]()

Yeah, I noticed some performance gain as well. Visually, however, it's kind of a double-edged sword. By eliminating the fog outdoors you lose a lot of realism, especially around dusk and dawn. Overcast weather is also hard to nail when you "thin" or remove certain weather lighting effects. Here are some shots. Config is almost ready, though it might be too bleak for some of you lol. I think I'll include, at the very least, that interior fog remover since it allows you more freedom to play with the daytime lighting as opposed to the constant compromise that goes without. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
