Can't wait to try your config, trillville. Your screenshots are beautiful and remind me movies like Braveheart or Gladiator. Here is a more "happy" approach. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Trillville, it turns out that your new config works extremely well for inside panophotography, because the DoF effect is not too extreme. I like your skin-tones just fine! The muted colours work really well for the backgrounds. I think I'm gonna do a couple inside shots without characters. I'm sure those should look great. Not to sure how inside planets will look. Like a planet in a big room, probably. Let's find out later... Also, T.: your ENB needs a name. I keep getting searches for it on my Flickr page and people are not going to find it if you don't properly name it. ![]() BLEAK FALLS RAIDERS ![]() I HEAR SOMETHING |

midhras your shots are amazing! I would love to see some done with opeth's config. as for me, here is my new character and a shot using opeth's 0.41b and superl3's bokeh dof

@midhras Incidentally, that is the exact room and position that convinced me I needed to redo the entire interior lighting scheme and use the ambient fog remover. LOL Turns out though that the light Bethesda used for that particular fire is unusually bright. That's a problem because of brightness clamping. Anything near a super bright light source will tend to look flat with the config you have now. I've corrected it since, but it will be interesting to see what you come up with. In any case, while some people prefer a nice linear gradient, a muted palette can also give good results, especially if you like an ominously overcast sky. ![]()

Did I miss something? Trillville, you have released your settings? I, for one like the muted colors, I'm not really a fan of the bright psychedelica that enb can provide. Here are just a few featuring a tweaked version of my own config with a toned down, less flashy version of super's dof.. ![]() ![]()

Long time browser, first time poster... Love the screenshots everyone does. Does anyone know how to remove the "letterbox" look in the config file? Would appreciate any help with it or pointing me in the right direction. Thanks! |

@trillville: Yeah I noticed that about the light. Good thing that a panoramic shot takes the focus away from things like that a bit. But I did think the fire didn't turn out well there. But that's a small dent in the things that your config does. At parts it almost looks like I'm walking in a painting of sorts. An entirely new gaming experience I must say. I find myself taking snapshots of entirely uninteresting things and I feel like quite the tourist. Thanks for the enjoyment (I'm getting quite fanboyish over this), but this way I'm never going to get the time to really explore all the other brilliant configs here. Oh, one request: if you do get your newest config out: make any bokeh optional (for those that can't/won't tweak it). I think your config is well suited with a very slight DoF effect. |
