With Adaptation I mean the effect where you look at something dark, and the image will light up, and if you look at something bright like the sky, the image will brightn down. Like a real camera works.. I think it is called HDR lighting in computer language, but I'm not sure about that.. It's just an effect I really don't like in games.. And it's kind of a bitch to remove, cause if you remove it, then either your days are too dark, or your nights are too bright, and it takes some effort to get it right again, without the adaptation effect... I'm sure this makes not sense at all :) lol!

How do you disable adaptation? I have it turned off in ENB (set to false) but the in game adaptation still kicks in regardless.

Unreal Warfare: I'm not 100% sure what does the trick, but it is possible.. In my case these settings solves the problem.

In the enbseries.ini

[ADAPTATION]
ForceMinMaxValues=true
AdaptationSensitivity=.195
AdaptationTime=0.165
AdaptationMin=1.5
AdaptationMax=1.5

And in enbeffect.ini

float EAdaptationMinV2=0.3;
float EAdaptationMaxV2=0.3;

But since the camera wont lightn up the night or darken the day, you have to go in and do alot of ajustments to EBrightness, EToneMappingCurve and all those settings and proberbly also the lighting settings in [ENVIRONMENT].. you know, what we usually do to make it look good again..

I think it's important that the ForceMinMaxValues is set to true, otherwise it will just use the vanilla adaptation, I believe.

Hope this helps

@kalicola - I'm both really happy you posted that, and really scared about implementing it and ruining everything. But I have at least 2 backups of all my settings... so... HERE GOES NOTHING :)

Also... I've posted this everywhere under the sun except here. So here you go. Midhras - you owe me 19 endorsements on nexus still :)

Damn, i'm so busy learning and working with scripts ( Papyrus ) that i don't post any screenshots anymore. It's addictive, more than doing screenshot, because the results is not " static ". I'm not even joking.

Anyway, i'm currently working on a " cuff / bound " mod ( and some non-lethal goodness ), very lore friendly and still W.I.P :

Dorak. I'm going to try not to shout here.

YOU ARE WORKING ON A MOD THAT ALLOWS YOU TO BIND AND CUFF PEOPLE WHICH WILL BE AN AWESOME QUEST MODDER'S RESOURCE?!!!

Damn, I failed.

And James... apparently the Nexus image forums can't tell shit from pearls it seems. That one endorse was mine of course. :/
Oh and for some reason this thread has left me with a desire for larger than life realistic, grey-streaked sideburns.

Very few epic shots, at least in our community's opinion, ever get noticed on the nexus. I think it has a lot to do with the time of day. I have posted images there at night and by the time I refresh the home page they've had 100+ views :/

If you post at night I find that so many people view it gets buried quickly. Ones that I have done in the middle of the day during work seem to get more attention since there are fewer people spamming the hell out of it. Just my 2 cents.

Here's a few from Trillvilles ENB.. Not as skillfull screenshots as Mr. TV himself, but anyways, the color and lighting is still pretty damn awesome!

@Kalicola
Actually, those two screens are very well put together. The last one also gave me a good chuckle.

@Dorak

If you want mad hits on the Nexus, just change " cuff / bound" with "bondage." But in all seriousness, that looks like a neat concept. When I tried scripting in F03 everything turned into a horrific mess: inexplicable explosions, gunfire for speech, one NPC whose last act of rebellion was to link his z-axis to the player's face...the list goes on. Maybe I should give Papyrus a shot. Anyway, here are some battle screens.
