Uninstalled every gameplay-affecting mod, manually resized all texture overhaules i use to 1024x1024, but still this game crashes randomly every 5-20 minutes. Why wont it just lag isntead of crashing, like other decent games do?

The only thing I can think of is that a combination of ENB and the texture mods are eating your VRAM for breakfast, I try and be super careful and do not use any texture mods while I'm running an ENB setup due to the fact it causes lag spikes when turning and eventually leads to it eating most of my VRAM and sending me to 2fps resulting in me having to restart my game (though if I leave it any longer it just CTD's)

I'm using an Nvidia GTX 580 1.5gb atm so there really is not much room for both :p maybe when I get my 3gb variant and run it in SLI it'll be better ^__^

Have you tried disabling your texture mods completely then running just the ENB to see if it CTD's? I have a strange feeling that it is eating more than you have causing it to crash :p

Well, im monitoring vram usage, it eats up to 989 mb vram, sometimes up to 1009mbs(this is prolly actuall physical maximum - I have gtx560ti 1gb). Ill try to cut out all landscape and trees textures, leaving only optimized character skins and water and see what happens.
Though when i was running original skyrim without any patches + nvidias SSAO at high quality + Serious HD retexture(1024x1024) + 8xAA + GTA SA enb adapted to skyrim i didnt experience much crahses during 30+ hours gameplay. Not its unbearable.
Or ill just wait that someday ill be able to buy gtx xxx with > 2gb vram :(

@dpeasant: Not quite sure why you get crashes on a regular basis, I'm using the official HD texture pack, very high quality charachter textures, clutter and dungeon retextures and HQ armors and weapons. All of this in combination with mods like Warzones and Skyrim Monster mod and I only occasionally get crashes. Only thing I could suggest to try is to lower the resolution, I'm playing @1600x900 8xAA and reduce the view distance for persons and objects. Maybe that does the trick idk : / (I'm playing on a single HD4890 1gig because crossfire doesn't work properly wih enb :( )

@dpeasant: А сколько оперативной памяти стоит/используется игрой? У меня подобная проблема возникла, когда я разрешил игре использовать 4Гб из доступных 6, а виртуальная память была выключена, дабы не нагружать хард лишний раз. Винда стала тупо задыхаться и выгружать все ёмкие процессы.
Вылечил полной переустановкой Cкайрима и включением виртуальной памяти на не системном харде.

@Plywood: Carpe Diem doesn't contain code for borders. So I suppose it's from Jasmin's tweaked preset. )

Thanks and no the ice textures are vanilla (only using the official HD pack). I will release my settings asap, but I have to finish the custom weather patterns first, which is a bit time consuming and I will have to ask the creator of URWL if I'm allowed to make a public release because I used his old .esp as base for my weather patterns (although ~50/60% is/are (not sure if it's is or are? :D) completely reworked as of now including all of the imagespace modifiers). I just wouldn't feel comfortable releasing it without his OK.
I'll pm him on that matter and if he does not want me to release the .esp then I'll have to port over my tweaks to a new one and rework what's left.
Anyway I think I should be able to come up with a proper release in the next days.

@fedorrrz: Thanks aswell and I really like your recent shots :) . It's just a shame that I can't use the Isles mod, it allways crashes on me. Damn .esp memory problems :evil:

@happyken: I'm slowly getting the feeling that I'm having massive luck, I dind't have to reinstall the game even once, although I'm currently running 100+ mods. And your config looks like it's coming along nicely :)
