Is there anyway to avoid, or reduce, the odd transparency issues with water and SSAO, where the texture of the river/lake bed seems to sit on the water surface? Great captures everyone, some very impressive stuff. |

@Gionight Thanks. SGSS and 2x MSAA definitely cuts down on the blur. I've also noticed that reducing bloom can help improve the quality of textures. And that screen of the horse jumping over the water is awesome @Dogstar I think the water transparency is linked with SSAO strength. However, if you go back to the .110 wrapper, you'll notice that SSAO is handled differently and makes the water look a bit better. @Cruncher Thanks! @Midhras I think the key with trees is balancing direct lighting so you don't get that weird glowing of the alpha-map or whatever. Also, a generous amount of AO can help make them look more "full," but at the cost of some smudginess in the distance. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
