david-69 wrote: @Gionight... Just registered to ask, How did you do this Gionight??? What mods are you using....what /texture/body replacers........what everything? Please, I will be very grateful if you let me know of which mod combination allowed you to create such incredibly wonderful chars and graphics.... Seriously I'm awestruck I'm with you on this David. I would literally send $100s through PayPal to have someone like Gio or Unreal send their settings, mod list, INI, nvidia inspector settings etc. I can dream but unfortunately that's about it. Most of the users on here are not willing to share their specific settings with a few exceptions such as prOPAs and Opethfeldt. Can't say I blame them as it can take hundreds of hours to get the right settings. We just have to witness their magic and ponder how they did it and offer awe and praise. Even if Gio and Unreal say their profiles are WIP, their WIP is 10x better than most configs out there and the community would kill to play in such immersion. Keep up the awesome work all. Skyrim will only look better. I remember using Gios config for GTAIV and it breathed new life into that game, makes you feel like you're playing GTAV or VI even. Same thing here. Who needs Elder Scrolls VI when ENB and the right config makes it look like VII. PC gaming alive and well thanks to you. |

Keep in mind folks, that even if you had these guys PC's it does not mean you will get the results they do... regardless of mods or ENB these people have sublime artistic skill, that goes a very long way to what you see in their posts. A few quickies from a bit of play time I managed over last weekend. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Dogstar: I have to agree. Gionight in particular makes the best portrait shots, IMO, by far. Settings aside just great composition all the time. I love others as well but it does stand out for me. Really like Unreal's environment shots for the same reason. I miss Fedorzzz though and think Trillville needs to finish his settings and get back to his cinematic shots as well So many others but those 4 in particular have always been some of my favorites. Some enbs I actually like more but that is totally different set of skills to appreciate. I just love seeing what everyone does with the game and enb both (modders too for that matter). |

Does anyone know how to set the LOD in the tex2Dlod HLSL function call? Changing the w value of the texture coordinate isn't doing a damn thing to adjust the LOD for me, and it's slowing down my sprite-based bokeh system. ![]() ![]()

I'm not generating mipmap levels in modern versions of the mod, so this feature is not working whatever you try (0.076 was last with lods, as i remember). As you understand, there are too many things required for such rendering, i don't know how to make all features available, except plugin system with handle to d3d device, but declare standart will be huge problem too. |

Aww, that explains it. Oh well. I'll put this project on hold then. |

Can't say I blame them as it can take hundreds of hours to get the right settings. We just have to witness their magic and ponder how they did it and offer awe and praise. What? What are you talking about! People who only post screens of their configs and NEVER share them are DICKS, pure and simple. Boris CREATED enb. HE has chosen to SHARE it with all of us for FREE. To then take HIS creation, modify it a little bit, and REFUSE to SHARE it with everyone else is a DICK move. We had to deal with people like that back in the GTA IV enb community, and it sucked. They would always tease everyone with these incredible looking shots, but in the end no one else got a chance to try their configs (maybe because they didn't actually look all that great to begin with). It doesn't cost anybody ANYTHING to share their config. It doesn't take away from the amount of work they put into it. It doesn't hurt them in any way. If you just want to gather envy and praise for your config, but never share it, then you are an asshole. Period. I'm not talking about people who don't want to release their configs while they're still a WIP. That makes perfect sense to me ... though I do wonder if some of these configs will ever in fact be released. I can predict that some of them will still be saying the same thing a year from now: "It's a WIP." Better maybe to release your configs sooner, even though they're not "perfect" (which they never will be.) You can always release an updated version later, which lots of cool modders do all the time. EDIT: By the way, just off the top of my head, among the people who post screens here, Dogstar, Kalicloa, IndigoNeko, T.A.Z., far237, DrSarcasmo and Superl3 have also kindly shared their configs. All are excellent and well worth trying and I am no doubt forgetting to mention many others. |
