Full scales, the key to perfection. ;)
Did you keep qualities to 0 ?
When I'm running full scales, I set the classic 1 -1.0 -1.0 -1 thing.
But I noticed it also kind of "dries" the image, right ?
That's why I sticked to 0 -0.75-0.75-0, it leaves specularity alone to my eyes.

Can you explain what you mean by this and show some examples. Is this what you are currently using in your K ENB for your SSAO settings?

Yep. What you'll find in my released setup, exactly. here's my actual SSAO_SSIL section (0.132)

UseIndirectLighting=true
UseComplexIndirectLighting=true
SamplingQuality=0
SamplingRange=0.25
FadeFogRangeDay=8.0
FadeFogRangeNight=16.0
FadeFogRangeInterior=16.0
SizeScale=0.75
SourceTexturesScale=0.75
FilterQuality=0
AOAmount=0.83
AOAmountInterior=0.82
ILAmount=2.71
ILAmountInterior=2.69
AOMixingType=2
AOMixingTypeInterior=2
AOIntensity=0.78
AOIntensityInterior=0.80
AOType=0

Boris
please, bare with me, don't tell my settings are crazy or broken, I already know it :lol:

evok99
Running these @1080p, 1440p and 1620p, it's what looks best to my eyes. Scales should be 0.707 to be really correct (0.5 pixels), but you got the idea.
But these are working in conjunction with my r2+ value in enbeffect.fx (we already talked about it), and all the rest that can impact black levels. (toobright, etc...)

Looks better than : (to my eyes, because big size of display))

SamplingQuality=1
SamplingRange=0.25
SizeScale=1.0
SourceTexturesScale=1.0
FilterQuality=1

since those, even if they ARE better, math wise and quality wise, look like they 'dry' the blacks AO generates and make them less .... "popping".
No examples to follow, though, for sure :lol:

What would, could be adviced, more correct math wise, would be : (can help performance as well)

SamplingQuality=0
SamplingRange=0.25 >>>>>>>>>> This should be 0.3 or 0.35 @least
SizeScale=0.5
SourceTexturesScale=0.5
FilterQuality=0

Of course, all these are .132 settings. Things changed since 0.143, since such scales (0.75 or such) are more heavy, performance wise, with .143 SSAO.

how can implement newest feature of enb such as diffuse bloom to hd6 enbeffect.fx?
I love hd6's enbeffect, but newest feature is also hot.

@ maload

The reason why my pictures inside the guide look more sharp and not so hazey as yours, is because I had tweaked my enbeffect.fx settings to make it look like that.

I will try and complete part 2 of the guide during this week so you know what enbeffect.fx settings I used alongside the enbseries.ini settings ;)

@ superl3

Diffuse bloom? where is that mentioned, if you could show me I might be able to help you out on adding that Diffuse bloom to HD6 enbeffect.fx file

@ all
If anyone is interested I have made an update to my DNI Seperated files which can be located here -> --JawZ-- ENB resources

Great shots all, as usual ;) Tweaked days a bit more, nights a little as well. I like dark nights though so don't expect it to be easy to see anything beyond a rather low range as my fog is insanely dark (ambients as well actually). Basically if I want detail at night, I need a light source--but still just bright enough to run around without requiring one (usually, hehe).
