You can tweak interior fog parameters as well |

Here is my explanation I wrote to JoPineapples68 in a PM; Quote: Fog values alters the near and distant fog that is all over screen. Volumetric Fog is the fog sprites on the mountain tops. Particle alters the the fog sprites found around the ground, also affects the blowing snow and some other stuff. Also the commands named like this -> LightingInfluenceDay Affects the brightness and the color of that particular effect that uses those commands. The higher the value the more of the color from the current scene it will use in for an example the particle fog, blowing snow etc. So if they are to saturated try lowering this value to make the whiter Just to cover everything related to fog |

Fog (not volumetric) also affects mountain ranges. Obviously it doesnt apply to interior fog but I thought I'd just throw that out there seems were discussing fog. :p |

@Manshima: Specularity under [Environment]--granted will also lose the shine on other objects as well. Regarding [particles]: It also controls waterfalls as its what I noticed first when they were added--mine were all black. |

Picture journal of Jenee: born in Cyrodiil to a trading family, one day they had to make a massive shipment to Solitude...the ship was tossed by waves to a large iceberg, and capsized...her parents died along with the rest of the crew, but she survived because she was in the mid ship shortly after, she recovered and made the frigid swim... ![]() A long ways to go.. ![]() Meeting a kind pirate, he offered her dry clothes and a fire; she asked him to come with her but he said he was waiting for the rest of his crew to turn up (as they too had shipwrecked, but they were all separated) ![]() A warm fire... ![]() ![]() Eventually she made her way to Dawnstar where the kind innkeeper gave her a room..here she thinks about the events of the day and what she is going to do now, alone.... ![]() The next morning the innkeeper loaded her up with supplies after she had decided she was going to travel south to Chorrol, where her aunt and uncle lived... ![]() more to come later |

rashbeep I checked the screens you posted, and some of those Dragonsreach particles are not yet affected by particle settings. I'm looking into finding a solution, but it has turned out to be more complicated that I had anticipated. |
