Well, you have to see it to really appreciate it I guess. I didn't expect all that much from the first fix you've released for Fallout 4, Boris, but when you see it in action, it's rather inconceivable how Bethesda thought that silly character lighting would be a good idea. Thanks!

Have you noticed by the way, how TAA makes some assets shimmer? Guns and the Pipboy get that effect, as well as characters at times.

I can't wait until we can use ENB shaders for depth of field, AO and the works. The game's lighting is pretty good compared to Fallout 3, but there's always room for improvement.

Gorgeous! A lot of people are so down on the game's graphics, but I think it's already beautiful and your images capture this well. Creative direction, asset design and world design have a tremendous impact on the look of a game. Shaders can add realism and cool effects, but that matters very little if the underlying game is ugly or poorly designed, i.e. you can't put lipstick on a pig and call it pretty, right?

That being said, since the game is already beautiful as is, then Boris has a nice 'lump of clayy' to work with as a starting point ... though I understand the coding behind it all is an irrational and nonsensical mess, as per Boris. :P

EDIT: If I were to offer one critique of the images, there appears to be a BIT of over-sharpening applied, with some 'halos' appearing around dark objects where they intersect with the sky ... or maybe I am imagining things @.@
Hehe, in any case, they are awesome pics, my comments are only in the interest of further improvement (unless I am totally off base here).
