TES and ENB plus/or not RCRN

Hello everybody,
I'm playing Skyrim for about 4 weeks now, and I'm playing around with RCRN (I followed the S.T.E.P. Guide) and ENB for about 2,5 Weeks now.
Hell I'm just Level 21 and use more time to mod and tweak Skyrim than playing
As I already told in a post in the GalleryThread (which I don't like to mess up with my questions
) I'm really amazed by ENBs Quality and all your presets.
I hope you are willing to talk and help me getting my Skyrim somehow looking like yours, 'cause I'm to dumb to do all alone
As for now I just like to ask, if it's ok to open this thread (else just delete) and also beg Boris for the permission to attach files.
I just don't like to add all my used Mods in a post.
I know that RCRN uses some technology that also ENB alters. E.g. Sky/Weather, Bloom, Darker Nights...
But I really like the colors and shadings of RCRN.
What are your recommendations?
I also found some texture issues that cause enb to ... hmm... "reflect" too much light?
Any easy way to find out which filenames got the textures with this problem? Maybe I could change them or just remove them?
I add my PCs configuration below. Perhaps you just like to tell me to forget about ENB anyway
Thanks in advance
Code: Select all

Everything running on Factory Default

I don't understand what you want exactly. Anyway you can now attach files to the forum, but better use file sharing services. And RCRN is compatible with ENBSeries, only making problems for day/night trigger, it not properly set.

@Boris: Thanks for the permission.
You are right. I think I didn't really ask a question
Ok. Maybe I should have called the thread. My personal Help thread
I know that I'm not nearly a professional like the most of you. So I like to show you my settings and told you my PC-Configuration.
I think you know a way than me how tweak my game to get only near the league you are playing.
And maybe one of you can help me on single issues I encounter while optimizing my settings.
I uploaded my setup files to my webspace now and just post a link in here, like Boris told me.
I'll post some screenshot later to show my current settings and FPS. Which is lower than I hoped it to be.
My Currently Used Mods
ZIP-File with ENB and RCRN Config Files
One more sentence to be more clear
I hope you can help me to figure out which mods cause problems in my setup and how to get the best pictures with decent performance.
EDIT: Just figured out: the thread might be better in Support/Performance ???
EDIT 2: Maybe I should tell you I'm using RCRN Default and Beautiful Skyrim ENB Cinema at the moment.
I just slightly decreased AmbientLightingIntensityDay=0.8 and disabled Darker Nights in enbeffect.fx

I don't know where better to move this thread, but performance category perhaps not valid. Better will keep it here for some time.
Regarding presets, i'm not playing this game, don't have time and can't play buggy games as i know that will stuck with broken savegame because of not working logic in some previous areas, it's rpg and to play it must be "rock solid". Each user have own taste and it's completely on your side how to tweak the best for yourself (or simply download existing preset), but for sure every preset will not be ideal, game have many weather presets and when you tweak for example for suny day, game will look bad in rainy mode. RCRN use changes in weather, but they are mostly produce incorrect results in hdr mode as they are designed for standart game color filters (i turned them off completely). If you wish to use RCRN and only fx from ENBSeries, then turn off what not need, search on this forum my reply about UseOriginalPostProcessing.
PS: reply anything to bring attention of users or no one will look at this topic with latest post by me.

Are you saying that you want ENB for the SSAO, DoF and sunrays, but don't want it to alter RCRN colours at all?

I'm just looking for a decent performance at first.
When using RCRN and ENB with the mentioned Preset for example I only get 25 FPS in many areas.
Is this a normal value for my system?
Maybe I use several techniques twice...
E.g. DOF in RCRN and ENB or should i disable sky in ENB or maybe the weather system in RCRN?
What does the ESP of RCRN anyway? I read about bloom?
Perhaps anybody tried RCRN and ENB before and can me which problems I could get into.
And I really would like to find out which are the textures that are "over"-bright when using ENB. Like the stone texture in pic 2.

Now I am able to show a specific problem I got.
The first picture shows the sky with ENB DISabled. Second ENabled.
I think the sky is way to bright. I tested with deactivating bloom and it got just a bit better.
What settings should I play with to set this?

[Gradients] under [Sky] settings affect the 'sky' so that's probably what you're wanting (one of the last enbseries.ini settings I played with as no clue what it was at the time). Intensity and/or curve depending on what you want to go for (and its broken into 3 'regions' which can be changed independently for a more varied/realistic skyline). Clouds might need tweaked as well but the sky seems to be the biggest issue in your comparison (and until gradients are fixed, clouds are secondary as can't see how much/if they need changed).

I personally think that if you get the right ENB config it is way better than RCRN, RL, etc etc but the only downside is performance. If your pc can handle it, I'd say ditch RCRN and just find an ENB config that you like. If you have performance issues maybe just stick with RCRN or RL etc.. Also, many ENB configs have optional performance presets.
