Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

I dont have problem with enbhost, so I tested the compression bit ^^
1080p runs:
ImageImage
ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true
ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true
DisableDriverMemoryManager=true
EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false
It is more fluid than previous versions and run really well (cell loads, stutter and so on), but there is slowdowns(lag spikes) where I marked with X. Previous version was less fluid but didnt do that. FPS is about same :>

Interior save took 5 seconds to load, Riften outside save took 14 seconds to load.
COC to Breezehome looked must faster to load, and I don't know if ENB is doing this but Breezehome fireplace lighting to a follower body didn't have the ugly shimmering.
I only have Beth HD, USKPHD, UNP 4K on 1 follower, CBBE 4K on another follower, and CBBE 2K on all.
OS and Skyrim are on their own SSD drives
ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true
ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true
DisableDriverMemoryManager=true
ReservedMemorySizeMb=512
EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

Boris

Sorry, I just downloaded the test dll then gone to bed. Just woken up and did some tests.

The game is smoother.
Loading screens are longer.
Saw more micro stutter, even in interior
Freezed in Helgen sequence when Helgen appears. With 0.200 I had only a micro stutter instead.

RAM use seems a bit higher.

[MEMORY]
ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true
ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true
DisableDriverMemoryManager=true
EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false
ReservedMemorySizeMb=512

P.S : UAC off, EnbHost run with Administrator rights, TESV.exe and skse_loader.exe excluded in Antivirus.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

Longer loading screens, but that does not bother me.
Game is much more smooth now even with higher ugrids. Before there was ton of micro stutter in certain area, now there is almost none.

Crashed only 1 time, probably because of too much texture loaded in one location (spawned bunch of npc)'

Conclusion - default game works perfectly and better than before.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

Boris, just reporting that my Infinite load screen problem on loading save games from desktop was indeed fixed by lowering texture quality to low (as you suggested). You are amazing at diagnosing problems. It appear to be a memory problem during loading.

I will just have to wait for future versions.

Thanks a ton.

Lol. Here is the optimism we developped since playing Bethesda games ^^.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

Completed test of new test version, settings (ugrids 5) and highly modded game

ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true
ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true
DisableDriverMemoryManager=false (doesn't seem have much impact either setting)
ReservedMemorySizeMb=1024
EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false

Exterior worldspace very smooth and stable - very little stutter on loading cells

Image

Still having some issues with infinite load screens though, sometimes when fast traveling to Solitude, or when in Solitude and I try to enter The Blue Palace. This happened on my last test, at the time VRAM was 934mb RAM was 1035mb. I have Vsync enabled along with FPS limiter set and physics fix enabled so not sure what causing this.

EDIT: new test (updated SPM) infinite load screen fast traveling from Markarth to Solitude:

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

I don't know what microstutters everyone talking about, this code work exactly the same as previous if cells not loading. Also memory compression performance on my old cpu is about 400 mb per second and decompression 1.5 gb per second, you can't notice such difference, except at loading saved game (and definetly i don't care if it longer). The main goal of testing if enbhost don't have problems with antiviruses and other fucked up systems is lost somewhere behind garbage, nice.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

Using test dll

CTD trying to load save at riverwood. sometimes it would crash sometimes it would load. I reduced graphic mods and experienced no crashes after. Very smooth running only stutters are when cells are loading which is expected. I never experienced any problems with user permissions on any version and none with this one.

Nothing serious about the micro stutter. 0.5 second of freeze from time to time. Very acceptable compared to CTD or complete freezes.
