I use SMAA and EdgeAA, works 90% of the time. Now I guess that won't be happening...but it turns out I can force SMAA with RP after all. So no worries there.
Btw I just asked if you included RadeonPro in your included list, guess it wasn't, thank goodness.
Please don't block that too.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.210
.210 update? Neat, didn't see the notice on the main site.
I was thinking after looking through MaldoHD for Cysis2: Is it possible to allow particle effects to recieve shadows?

I agree with the list of "crapsofts" ...but SweetFX ???
A lot of presets use it, K enb for example

Re: TES Skyrim 0.210
Exactly. I'm still using SweetFX solely for lumasharpen, which I don't want to go without really, so I guess I'll stick to 209 then, which works great BTW.CruNcher wrote:There is only 1 thing really of interest in Sweetfx and that is the lumarsharpen shader which also was the whole base before sweetfx adapted the other shader stuff, and that one could be ported to ENB rather easily i guess

It's your program, so you can do whatever you want... but why reduce functionality? Do you really think noobs will stop bothering you because this type of software is blocked? They'll just screw up the game in other ways and still bother you.
I can understand you blocking hialgoboost, gameboosters and the like. But sweetfx? I haven't seen a preset for ENB in ages that doesn't use it, or some kind of SMAA/FXAA dll. Not by noobs, but the majority of preset developers like the wonderful people who post here and fill up the gallery and promote ENB on the nexus.
By the looks of enblocal.ini it looks like you removed all ability to use proxy dll. Or is it still possibly by adding the lines manually, and you just hid it so the noobs won't know how?
What's more, it'll take some time until popular presets update to work around the absence of sweetfx, SMAA, etc. Why not keep .209 around for a while, the inability to use a proxy is a pretty big change.
Just my opinion.

Go Boris... Go Boris...
I admit I see a large portion of ENB presets using sweet FX, I got lucky here because the one I use does not, for anybody wanting a cracking ENB with loads of choice and no SweetFX (for whatever reason) try SkyRealism ENB Evolved, I myself use the Cinematic preset (Black bars removed) with RLO and Climates of Tam - cracking stuff.
First thing to realize with ENB presets, and it took me a good while to realize it, is you will not find a perfect one, gotta grab the nearest thing to your tastes and be grateful we have any options at all.
And if you like some variety, SkyRealism comes with a good selection if you like to change it up on occasion and it's a very simple drag and drop process.
IMO best ENB Preset for a nice well rounded experience.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.210
How is sweetfx crapware?
It's nothing but another injector just like SMAA that you can pass through the proxy feature. It's never caused me any trouble, not in 0.193 nor in 0.209...

This game don't have much smoke particles to make shadows for them, just wasting performance as this effect is very slow by texel rate and require different algorithm of particles rendering in general.
Tried to set uGridsToLoad to 11 and got freeze on loading screen. It's not because of insufficient memory, some other game bug. Don't know, may be better to ignore it.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.210
Im ok with this People that want sharpen why not use the sharpen code inside Matso´s enbeffectprepass and some others enbeffectprepass ? :>
I think Edge AA alone is enough if you can pull of above 1080p res for playing (unless using a TV or monitor that stretch pixels above original size) and for screenshots Temporal AA and Edge AA does wonders (bigger is better) ^^
