Re: TES Skyrim 0.211

Boris
lol just noticed, when you added downsampling I could run 3840×2160 at constant 10fps. Now 4096×2304 runs at 14-17 fps with similar settings^^

Gekko64 wrote:Boris and Oyama, you got a wrong impression about Arkngt. I can assure you he's a knowledgeable mod user and has been for years. Read his posts again: he's not saying he demands you change your code to suit him.

( Oh, and why are you insulting someone by calling him "effeminate" ? Please tell me you're not into that Putin style homophobic mindset and it was just a random insult  )

All he's saying is that he'll keep using 209. and why shouldn't he?

It seems 211 is exactly the same as 209 except for the warning message, and the warning message is useless after the first time you've read it. so there's no reason to use 211 if you have 209. what you need is to add a DisplayWarningMessage=true under [PROXY] , that allows knowledgeable people to disable the warning message.

By the way, I'm running SweetFX via proxy with 211 and I get no warning message. Maybe it's being overwritten by the red "patch speedhack" text?
The problem is that a knowledgeable mod developer complaints because a message appears when he makes potentially buggy things.
I think people who wants so badly give "crap" to users, who will then annoy a lot Boris, doesn't deserve consideration. If you want to make crap, deal with the message, and show your public that they have to bother you, not Boris, in case of bugs.

Display the message only the first time we launch ENB will make it ignored by nearly everybody. It has to be annoying to make people register correctly this, and also to make preset developers lose their bad habits.

Take your time no rush :)

Is there a software that is safe to use where I can control the fan curve? I don´t OC the gfx cards, but they get really hot with the default fan curve :>
I think EVGA Precision or ASUS GPU Tweak maybe have (only other software I can think of at the moment), or would those cause same problem as MSI Afterburner?
Actually found this update for Afterburner http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php ... 3&t=380513, would this make any difference (last update note)?
I can use Nvidia Inspector with static adjustment as last resort, don´t mind if all other is no good :>
Just want to find a solution that don´t modify anything unwanted or cause unwanted bugs within ENB ^^
You can try using SpeedFan, it has fan curve just like AfterBurner.
http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php

It's a bit tricky to configure, but once you get used to it you will like it.

Better french translation : (better sense, french can be quite tricky ;) )

Logiciel Tiers détecté. Vous utilisez ENBSeries en dehors des cadres recommandés, merci de ne soumettre aucune plainte quant à des bugs éventuels.

I'm sorry Kuro but I couldn't understand the first part of your message.

Anyway, I've already suggested a sensible fix for the issue.

Too much vague. Indeed, french is rather tricky.

Rather :

Do you believe it's normal to post "i don't like this version, will use older" on official forum? Compare to other products or go to the shop with that. I feel myself asshole like adobe, ea or autodesk who don't do anything, so their old versions of products are better.

To summarize : If a mod author wants to make crap/buggy things so badly, it's normal to tell him what he makes is bad. It's normal too to inform his users he has made bad things that ENB's creator is not responsible.

Kuro
Bien sûr que je suis resté vague, c'est intentionnel ;)
Si l'utilisateur doit se farcir la lecture complète, on est mal ! :D
Le jour où Boris décidera de commercialiser l'outil, là, ce sera autre chose ;)

Re: TES Skyrim 0.211

Unsupported doesn't mean bad. It means that it affect normal performing of my mod or it's memory manager (especially memory manager). But most software is crap in all means, i'm so happy to use virtual machines for testing, because all those boosters starts tons of malicious processes. Nice idea to terminate explorer process to free up 100 mb and replace by own processes of 400 mb.
