Re: TES Skyrim 0.212

Compared 0.212 to 0.211 and there is no any single reason for more frequent CTDs or freezes, all changes to statistics only per frame usage and only one added which free video memory from old textures (not used more than 5 seconds) when less than 16 mb vram left (but because of VideoMemorySizeMb, drivers and other software actual value may differ much) or when fps is less than 10. The changes i did to cycles which free resources till they can be created do not affect anything, because instead of stuck in long cycle i making huge vram free call and if fail, then not because of mod.

All tests were posted in this forum category as attachments to my posts.
Just stressed your board a bit by doing extensive searches for these tests just to find out you deleted every single one of them because of freaks not posting results.

So I still really want you to let me help you, but I seem to be in need of those tests.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.212

I tried to do clean testing - no sweetfx or fraps. SPM was giving me trouble so will just say that overall the game play was smooth and about the same as 211. No CTD's, fairly smooth rotations, didn't really see much difference as far as performance. Images were sharp and detailed but frankly wasn't sure what to look for in regards to the subpixelAA. Think I recall it might show up in the standing stones (ring) and I looked at those and they were smooth and even and looked great to me.

Tested, don't see any difference between 0.212 and 0.199 in Javarrski.

wolfgrimdark
Force these values to something huge and then compare on screenshots with and without subpixel antialiasing:
SpecularAmountMultiplierSunrise
SpecularAmountMultiplierDay
SpecularAmountMultiplierSunset
SpecularAmountMultiplierNight
SpecularAmountMultiplierInteriorDay
SpecularAmountMultiplierInteriorNight

Kalex
Ok, try attached then. But no reason for 0.212 to work bad compared to 0.211

EDIT: deleted.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.212

I applied specularity to characters' skin, pushed specular values to quadruple what they were previously and looked closely with and without subpixelAA. There was definitely a difference with AA enabled but it was slight. The specularity was just a little sharper. I'll check the standing stones as well. What are some other objects with high specularity? I just wanna make sure I give accurate results.

Boris, did you want us to post screenshots or just check ourselves that way and report what we see?

EDIT: Forgot to ask, Boris, what specifically are you looking for in that test? If I grab it and test it, I would like to make sure I'm testing for the right thing(s).

Re: TES Skyrim 0.212

After i installed v0.212 my framerate starts acting as if it has an imaginary vsync even though i have it disabled in EVERYTHING. At menu with 0.209 i got around 900+fps now i only get 105 and the framerate in game tries to stay within variables of five causing my game to act like utter crap. When i removed all ENB files from my Skyrim the problem went away and there was no "vsync" issue. Can i please have some help here. :(

enblocal has a vsync option.

This is my settings:

[LIMITER]
WaitBusyRenderer=false
EnableFPSLimit=false
FPSLimit=60.0

Boris
I just tried your test file (using 0.212 + adding the test file) but it made my game CTD instantly after starting the game.
Then I tried doing the test on a clean, unmodded Skyrim Installation, made me CTD again.
Then I tried doing the test on a clean, unmodded Skyrim Installation on my Wifes PC, made me CTD again.

Especially the fact it's doing the CTD on my Wifes PC is odd, as her PC was fine with my Installation earlier with 0.212.

Where should the logfile be created, if it would have worked?

EDIT: Is there also a test file for the injector version? In the past this version was more stable for me usually.

Test is for Kalex.
I don't need screenshots of subpixelaa, just pointing where to look at how it work. I mostly notice specular aliasing in loading screens, there are many objects suffer from it. Of course 5 samples not enough, but i can't do more because of performance reasons.

50shadesofray
No changes made which can cause this (physicsfix was in 0.209 too). And you haven't provided any information.

Kalex
How about attached version?
