This sucks.
I guess Bugthesda did have other choices about water, right ?

Changed caustic code to make it look clear without factor of deepness color self illumination, because users in comments to video say too much about homotropical water.
Really ?... Pity. I don't understand this obsession of users about Skyrim looking cold in all its aspects....
Your vid looked fantastic....

I agree with Oyama, the video you posted of water caustics was mind-blowingly beautiful Boris! It's a bummer that's not what people are looking for I guess, because I was seriously blown away with how fantastic your water looked, lol. I really liked the homotropical water =p

I have to agree with Oyama, I guess people have the perception of Skyrim being a cold and harsh place. Nevertheless, homotropical or not, it looked an incredible step forward.

Don't think vanilla water have parallax, so you misinformed.[/quote]
I know. I meant that according to Opticshooter (I think it was him. It was a while ago when I asked), When he added a parallax map it looked bad to him. But I didn't see any images, so I don't know. I would like to see what the effect looks like though.
Who says water wouldn't look that clear in a mountain cold as hell region? People don't really think clearly. Boris, the video you posted looks fantastic and I didn't see a need to change it.
Does look kind of tropical though I would say it has more to do with the look of the sand than the water. Normally I'd think a northern lake type of environment to have a more rocky/muddy ground as opposed to bright, clean sand.
