Re: TES Skyrim 0.236

On my PC, I had to set EnableDisplacement=false on both [WATER] and [UNDERWATER] sections. For the [WATER] when it's enabled, the sunrise and sunset water surface reflection disappeared. For the [UNDERWATER] when it's enabled, the fps dropped 30% under water on my crossfire setup with 13.10beta2.

BTW, try not to load a save while you are under water. After loaded, the game display was under water setting for some reason. I'm on the latest 0.236.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.236

Those with "invisible" water, be sure skyrimPrefs.ini has radial blur enabled: iRadialBlurLevel=(0-3 defaults).

Re: TES Skyrim 0.236

Editing Radial Blur makes no difference. Just tried it.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.236

And it seems that the surface of the water (Viewed from underwater) disappears when displacement is enabled.

DaemonWhite
DXTory never worked with the mod.

I said already, unable to reproduce bug with invisible water, displacement is just part of the shader code and it don't have any dependency at all, so it's something wrong in the shader code and can't find where by reviewing it.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.236

Guys, could you turn off all effects and only toggle water displacement on/off to detect if any dependency exist? Also how it looks like, planar water when displacement enabled or it's really nothing, invisible? Have you tried to turn off fix of ssao transparency for water in enblocal.ini? Do you have SweetFX or other soft running?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.236

Tried disabling the fix but it made no difference. Tried turning off all effects in the ENB then just enabling Water and Underwater with Displacement enabled. No difference.

What I did notice was that if I disabled Water but left Underwater enabled, with Displacement enabled for both, I didn't experience the issue.

How it looks? It looks like you have fallen through the map. You can see everything above you except the body of water.

Unreal Warfare wrote:Ok so with 0.236 if I enable Displacement under the [WATER] category the water is fine. If I enable Displacement under the [UNDERWATER] category then water goes invisible.

So with this I get the same issue but it appears to have been shifted to [UNDERWATER] Displacement instead.

Other than that no other issues to report.
same thing here. Turned [UNDERWATER] Enable Displacement = false and Applied Changes and it became visible again. I turned off all water effects and as soon as I turned Displacement back on, underwater became invisible again.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.236

Test attached version, only underwater displacement enabled and NOT enabled displacement for water. Is underwater surface will be visible or not and if mod show up error message.

EDIT: file deleted
