Re: TES Skyrim 0.239

So I don't have much to say regarding the new binary. SSAO seems to be working fine for me, it toggles on and off just fine and there doesn't seem to be anywhere missing the effect. I can't say much about any performance increases between the binaries as I just upgraded my graphics card and increased the OC on my processor (slightly, and yes, I know it's weird to OC the boost but on my particular chip it's the only way I can get a stable OC on it; I've tried other methods but nothing else works) so I am of course seeing a performance increase but I can't tell how much may be the binary.

As a side note, if it's still a consideration, the batched shadows idea is beginning to really appeal to me. Even though it won't actually effect the appearance of shadows, I can see the performance increase gained put into other effects, or even just increased shadow resolution. Anyhow, thanks again Boris! I'm gonna get back to playing now! :)

Re: TES Skyrim 0.239

I ran some quick tests with Somber tonight and the SSAO was working fine for me with 239. I could clearly see it going on and off where I was testing it.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.239

With all the water/underwater effects enabled, i'm getting like 6 FPS underwater, around 20 while just looking at water surface, and 40 with no water on screen. Is this really that performance-hungry?
That's with all the 239's. Clean ENB from the download section, all the previously installed Nexus presets deleted.
331.65 drivers.

Water code unchanged, so you late to ask such things.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.239

I've tried the latest binaries with Mistveil ENB (Winter) and I got a weird effect with water: it becomes blue and starts to reflect sunlight in a crazy way, both underwater and outside the water.
With the previous .239 I didn't have this problem, what should I check? SSAO/SSIL values?

Here some screenshots of what I'm talking about https://www.dropbox.com/sc/avoeom4wgs8gt27/W-j_WRmKi2

Re: TES Skyrim 0.239

Tried the latest version, still no AO/IL showing up. I've tried using different presets, the issue is persists, while .236 is working fine.
Tried enabling/disabling effects, but that didn't help either.

I'm not sure if it matters but I'm using an AMD card with the latest beta driver.

Modd31
You must find yourself which effects enabled/disabled produce this, except bloom, lens and parameter SunSpecularMultiplier. I'm unable to replicate issue and don't see any difference in code which may do this (previous 0.239 and latest).

Wait other amd users, what they will say.

EDIT:
Uriel24
Ha-ha-ha. Compare versions at same conditions with all effects disabled, except water and underwater.

Yeah, it's that performance hungry, particularly displacement. The underwater numbers surprise me a little, but still seems about right. Decrease displacement quality or turn it off to regain some fps. Also, your video card is a little on the low end for the water effects. Unfortunately, the GTX 570 is getting a little aged. :-\

I'm not having the problem and using AMD with the latest drivers and notice no issues. It toggles on and off just fine with a noticeable difference.

EDIT: Actually, I haven't checked the very latest update with fireplace fix. I'll double check on it then report. Is it in all areas (interior and exteriors) that you're seeing it or just one or two? I know some users reported some interiors not having SSAO awhile back while inside and someone, (sorry forget who!) made a fix in the CK. Blue Palace was one of those locations. Anyways, will check in a bit and report.
