Re: CTD on main menu, ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true + the SKSE alpha with the memory patch cause the crash.
I had to turn it to ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false to stop the crashing.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.251
ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false is default is false, not ture
ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false is still CTD
i try 1.6 skse and 1.7 both and TESV.exe orignal , both CTD
and aldz24`s setting CTD too
i put only 0.251 enbhost.exe /enblocal.ini its running good OK
but if i put only 0.251 d3d.dll is CTD
0.251 d3d.dll is problem

Re: TES Skyrim 0.251
i tried the new 251 binary...have not loaded a game yet since it's late up here already and i don't have the strength to navigate
but main menu works...no CTD's on the menu...i don't have the skse 1.7 alpha
only a compiled memory patch one i made based from daetareks code
imhunsoo: is your CTD issue on Loading a game? Starting a Game? or just the Menu and it just CTD's?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.251
Hi!
I have installed the last 0.251 version and I have NO CTD..but appeared a error sign in the upper screen that doesn't go away..the sign wrote:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\effect.txt(1,1):error X3000: unrecognized identifier 'THIS'
With the 0.250 no problems. I use VisualENB preset. Sorry for my bad english.

@Invocatore
the problem is in effect.txt. you can contact the author preset to discuss this issue.
its normal. i mean, there is nothing wrong with binary file. since v0.251 add new features to display shader compilation errors.ENBSeries wrote:The Elder Scrolls Skyrim (TES Skyrim, Скурим Свитки)
Graphic mod ENBSeries / patch ENBoost 0.251
Added parameters to control mipmapping lod bias. Added texOriginal texture type for effect.txt shaders which is always unchanged first texture, this allow to make some more complex computations. Added text messages on shader compilation errors, they are displayed only if some shader will fail to compile, white text on the screen.

I can only make time based fade for text appearance.
imhunsoo
aldz24
To solve issue the only solution is to test several builds to find which is wrong.
Invocatore
Or just delete effect.txt file, because it's not working anyway.

SKSE bug, they hooked memory allocation functions. Do not post CTD reports about this, i will not fix this!!!
I don't know how to describe this to you, simply standart feature of direct3d.How did you do it BTW ? If I may ask ?....
