Re: Dark Souls 2 v0257
Fade range for AO would be nice...if you can make it tweakable (not just fixed distance). We really don't need it to render over huge distances in this game.ENBSeries wrote:Sorry, forgot to say that if ao flicker of that tower occur when you get a bit closer to it, it's not a flicker, call next time properly, it's ao toggling on. Anyway, unfixable, it's game do not render depth for objects after certain distance, all i can do is to set fade range (not enabled in enbseries.ini).

Re: Dark Souls 2 v0257
Boris, I dread even asking this, but because I'm having a lot of trouble with the way day and night are detected, and how each different area seems to have a different colour profile, I'd LOVE to have weather/location dependent settings (at least for the ENVIRONMENT category). Do you think that is possible? I don't know if you can decode how the game goes about this without having to travel all over the place, though. I know you don't like actually playing this.

Boris i have the perfect solution for you. Use this free cam: http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=572976 to get through the areas without actually having to play the game.
Also this video will show you how to get from the start of the game to an area that still has AO flickering: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1z-eQcnLLo
To get to where the video starts just walk straight after starting the game and creating your character.

The free cam is based around your character so distant locations will be under very low LoD or even culled.
Where exactly are you having disappearing AO in Heide's Tower (position / direction)? I'm not having any problems there with the latest version.

He could just stand at the doorway before the first enemy in that area and use the free-cam. Also if you stand where the first enemy is in heides tower and rotate the camera, you will see the AO turning on and off. Also go to the second bonfire in the Shaded Woods, and move around in that room a little, the AO flickers there too.nattydread wrote:The free cam is based around your character so distant locations will be under very low LoD or even culled.

Nope, sorry. No AO problems. Here's a bit exaggerated proof just to see clearly:

Just make sure you dl the latest version (enb) again. It's been updated a couple of times without ver num change.

If using freecam you must absolutely start the game in offline mode or you'll be banned for sure

There is no weather and no time of the day in the game. It apply multipler to each object individually, which somehow connected to interior-night vs exterior-day. Because it's not one for all, i did accumulation for drawed objects and inertial by time to reduce too fast changes while rotating camera. It's not Skyrim or Fallout, i don't think that any requests can be implemented at this moment, i need to find out a lot of deeper, while game life cycle is too short to bother. I'll do changes when will find something, not by looking in to something particular.
