I don't know why this happen, never saw and don't know how to test. May be you have wrong mods installed for those models? For example blending modes are incorrect or alpha. Is this happen at certain conditions, like some particles/sprites are on the screen (sun sprite only)? They may affect too.

I've seen the same thing with the eyes and hair, though I can't say for certain whether it was sun/rays/volumetric rays or mist that was causing it. I checked the affected hair mesh and it was using blending mode 4845 with an alpha test threshold of 40. I have an Nvidia GPU (and I am not affected by startup issues).

You seem to have a scenario where you can find some useful information. In your 0.264 image, one of your characters' hair is not affected while the other's is. I would suggest comparing the NiAlphaProperty of those particular hair meshes in Nifskope to see if there is a difference between their blending modes and thesholds. I don't know what Boris can do with this, but it might be helpful to know.

Both test7 and test8 resulted with the black screen then the white window. I rebooted between test, and EndTask->CCC.exe on the 3rd test8 run to make sure CCC.exe is not conflicting with ENB.ENBSeries wrote:Another tests for amd users

I just checked and the issue electricsheep26354 reported can be reproduced with sun rays being cast behind the actors. Toggling sunrays off will cause the effect to disappear. It doesn't appear to be related to sunglare, lens, procedural sun or mist, as toggling them off has no effect. The issue only appears when sunrays are shining behind the actor (or more importantly, their hair and eye meshes). I also checked my most recent copy of 0.262 (August 26 I believe) and I could not reproduce the issue with that version.
Many hair meshes use blending mode 4845 for partial transparency. I don't know about eye meshes or the reason behind whatever blending mode they use, but it may be similar (i.e. alpha transparency for eyelash textures). I don't use any mods that apply this particular blending mode to any articles of clothing, so I couldn't test to see whether they would also be affected.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.264
Both test9 and test10 resulted same: black then white window. One test locked up my PC when trying to reboot, and I had to push the PC case reset button.

Thanks for the info, I'll have a look at the meshes and do some more testing. The mods are: Seranaholic (which I believe uses ApachiiSkyHair) Vilja in Skyrim, but I think her eyes are overwrote with Cute Eyes.
Boris
Thanks for the feedback, is this fixable with your code or do you need more info?
