Tests both in interior and exterior with fireballs flying random directions:
46: works fine
47: main menu is ok but then skyrim crashes when the loading screen is about to disappear. I have not seen a "driver has stopped" stuff, but effects are the same.
48: same as 47
49: same as 47, but i've seen the "driver has stopped" message with this one. media player classic that was on pause in background crashed too.
no logs in all cases.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.264
Test 46 worked no issue loading Riverwood save or casting the flame spell.
Test 47 - 49 passed the logo menu with fog, and I was able to coc whiterunbreezehome and cast the flame spell. The loading screen with fog frozen up when I tried to load an exterior save (Riverwood) or an interior save (Proudspire Manor). First test cycle on these three I was able to use TaskMgr to EndTask, but another test cycle after reboot I couldn't access TaskMgr with 47, so I had to use the HW reset button.

Hi Boris,
Tests 50 and 51 are working fine, loading game and using spells without problems.
Test 52's not working, loading screen freeze just after a game is loaded (I sea the loading screen, but hear the sound of the game).

Re: TES Skyrim 0.264
I got the same result. 50 and 51 worked loading a save and casting fire spells, but 52 got frozen up at the loading screen when it finished loading a save.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.264
On Nvidia here, haven't noticed any problems with the original 264.
Thank you for fixing the transparency with mist problem. I want to use mist to reduce visibility in heavy rain/snow and this greatly improves the practicality of the effect. The engine fog effects aren't very good and your effect is far superior.
One thing I noticed though, weather effects are still "erased" by the mist. I know you stated before that weathers are not in the worldspace and therefore the same calculations cannot be done with them. Is it possible to exclude weather effects from mist? I don't know how this stuff works internally so it's hard to clearly ask this - ideally it would look like weather effects were drawn after the mist was applied to the scene.

What do you mean by weather effects? Rain and snow particles? They are both fixed with alpha depth of 0.264.
