I haven't seen shadows which are not modified by the mod as detailed shadows. Where are they?
That images of lights, not sure, but seems two of them have detailed shadows, so the one only need to be fixed. Again, never seen it in the game, even don't have shader damped of not handled lights, so in all areas i visited, it not available. Don't remember now, but may be this type of light is not drawed as deffered shadow, projected directly on to objects (or was that in another game...).
I'll think how to make separators and other usability items in editor without using variables.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.265
That particular area is a test cell I use to troubleshoot lighting issues and experiment with, from time to time.
I have set up all three light bulbs in the same manner so it would be easy to determine change between them in the exact same condition.
Actually only one of them have the Detailed Shadows effecting the shadows, but it's so minor to tell between the Omni-Directional and Hemispherical light, that you would have to see it for yourself in game.
I can send you the .esp file, Only Skyrim.esm and Update.esm required, no DLC, so you can see the three shadow light bulbs with easy comparison in between them.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.265
I honestly tried to troubleshoot this issue before posting here. I was trying to avoid having to come here and burden other people with my problem.
No matter which ENB I try, whenever I use any ENB with the 0.265 binary, my game distorts into many green, blue, and red triangles. The game is unplayable since it almost "locks up" when this happens.
Here are some sample screenshots showing the issue, whenever "Use Effect" is enabled, the issue starts.
I thought it was my graphics card going out, but running the game without ENB shows no visual issues. I tried every other game I have, and all are displaying & performing properly with no issues. My graphics card temperature is also normal.
Here are my current ENBlocal.ini settings:

I have tried changing settings (specifically the memory settings) to no luck. I am honestly lost at words on what to do here, as again, this issue appeared as soon I update to the 0.265 binary.
My graphics card is a HD 7950 3GB, processor is an i5-3450, memory is 3GB.
Can anyone possibly shed some light on this please? I have no programs running in the background besides for programs/services essential to windows. Does anyone also have a backup of the 0.264 so that I can see if that still works for me?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.265
What about your Skyrim .ini files? Try reverting those to their default with only the required ENBSeries settings properly setup.
Have you tried running without any mods except for the official DLC'S and without any SKSE plugins?
Have you tried reverting to graphic card drivers default settings?
Have you tried different graphic card drivers?
Have you tried running with ENBSeries default files only?
Try removing the injection you have, SweetFX i take it, based on the naming.
And you need to re-generate that enblocal.ini file, a couple of activators that are no longer used in ENBSeries.
Just delete or rename your current enblocal.ini, load up skyrim and you will have a new fresh enblocal.ini with all available controls, same goes for the enbseries.ini file.

It was either the Skyrim.ini or Skyrimprefs.ini, since I use Mod Organizer, I have separate ini files located in those folders. I use the ones from the default folders (Document/My Games/Skyrim) since I hadn't altered other settings besides bfloatpoint--
Using those default folder settings presents no issues when starting the game now.
I will add that I did follow the STEP guide for INI tweaks here: http://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:Guide
I do want to figure out what tweak caused this issue since I saw one other person on this thread report the same issue happening some time ago.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.265
Ok here is the Light test esp file for you Boris. It includes all three shadow light bulbs in an easy comparison manner.
The file is in the attachment.
The textures and meshes are there to better illustrate which light is the Omni, Hemi and Spot shadow light.
To get to the cell which have the lights, type this into the console;
Once there look around and you will see some lights going through a corridor follow it, and you will have the three shadow lights in that room.
It's black ambient, but the lights should be enough to lit up the path to the shadow lights.
EDIT: file deleted after use by admin

I use "Shadows" mod : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50855/? Author of this modification use Hemi and Spot lights to cast shadows in some places.
Dragonsreach, near the entrance (shadow spotlight, if I'm not mistaken), vanilla shadow:
Dragonsreach, near the big fireplace (shadow omnidirectional), detailed shadow:

Re: TES Skyrim 0.265
If you figure something out, let me know. Hundreds of people have used those INI tweaks without issue. My guess is that it was a rouge edit done my accident somewhere, but I'm interested to know what you find out. You can redo the tweaks one by one and load the game after each to find the one that caused the issue for your system.Supa Hot Fire wrote: It was either the Skyrim.ini or Skyrimprefs.ini, since I use Mod Organizer, I have separate ini files located in those folders. Re: TES Skyrim 0.265
Okay, added those hemisphere and spot lights to processing of shadows for blurring and detailed. Will do an update a bit later. Btw, range of interior shadows is forced to fixed, because of bugs which appear when using together with detailed shadows and low res of shadow in general (it's big actually, but not optimized to camera matrix), don't know may be i'll remove that parameter as obsolete.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.265
Glad to hear that it was doable.
How would the removal of that parameter change both the function of light bulbs and visuals, if it's noticeable on our end that is?
