@Boris

Just wanted to say thank you for re-uploading ENB for us GTA 5 users. I really hope you keep supporting it.

Re: GTA 5 0.275

I said that don't care what others says, wasting time here trying to cheer me up. And you make that russian troll to feel like he have any impact on my decision. I just have fun reposting such crap to friends modders, "hello prostitute rusophobe" greeting makes my day in instant messaging recently. Same for ReShade, read what i say several times till understand. If someone choose ReShade instead of my mod, why should i hate it? ReShade and SweetFX are not in my weight category and it's clear that i'm no longer interested in generic versions because of limits they have. I was the pioneer, they got inspiration and made things better. It's not a car shop to "proove" at any cost why my product is better and others sucks. ENBSeries is for niche of modders who knows how things works, for casuals i can only provide tech support trying to understand what they wrote and how to answer to make them understand. GTA users visiting my site at rate of 2% vs others, why the heck do i need to continue developing for such small auditory? Recently released popular game have same amount of users of the mod as old like RE4 or DS2. Thouse mods don't have much features and were popular, why? Because almost all GTA5 players don't need graphics, even many GTA4 players were fine with vanilla colors. Do not project own vision on to others. Not enough features? Oh c'mon, fxaa injector had only one feature, on the wave of popularity immediately everybody started to develop their own algorithms, but nobody need fast supersampling in GTA5? The only valid answer - people don't care about graphics in GTA5. It's summer, tons of xbox and ps2 games not played, other projects semidead, and me sitting in front of display days and nights coding something useless. I'd better modify No One Lives Forever with same effort, at least i'm a big fan of it. I can't work just because some old users need the mod, will continue only when worth it. I'm not very impressed reading how great is this:

Re: GTA 5 0.275

Dude, people are using ReShade because it's about the only graphical mod available for dx11... If there was ENB for more dx11 games, we would obviously use ENB instead.
We who has been here for a while don't demand anything. We can request, but we don't demand.

Peace.

I understand your decision Boris. In the end it's up to you. I made this post below, it's a shame we won't see further development of this version of the mod

Re: GTA 5 0.275

Boris, genuinely interested: you said for example that TES/Fallout community download count here on enbdev is much higher than GTA. Ever considered that it may be so because everyone who installs an ENB preset he got off nexusmods has to visit your site? While on GTA or similiar, the dll always ships with the preset. I played Skyrim for a week and modded it for a short while. I have more copies of Skyrim ENB binaries scattered around here than GTASA stuff, and I spent nearly 5 years on this game. Yeah, community put me very often to the brink of quitting but eh.
About GTA V, I must say I did only use the debug version because I was waiting for more effects or better, external shaders. RIGHT NOW people use ReShade over ENB because it can do more changes to the game's visuals YET but that's only because ENB doesn't have the effects it has in other games. Everyone was waiting for ENB to have good features and then this.

True. A fucking true. I don't know what game need really superior graphics (except for Skyrim, GTAv just needs, I think, better textures, but people don't notice that problem). Most graphics are concentrated to give the general feeling of the game, they don't really benefit from "super effects". And, in fact, lots of players tone down graphics to the minimum to make it more responsive because of either the game being performance hungry or badly done. Most players in our time are playing to get plain fun and adrenaline rush, not aesthetic feeling being immersed in the beatiful world, they get bored pretty fast.

I googled comments about your mod. I think people just don't know what can make the game look better, and that is why they don't want to use the mod.

No, almost all of my users are thouse who waiting for new versions and just checking news page. When i released mods for any new games (Dark Souls 2 was the last if i remember), amount of visitors doubles. So it's just because "nobody" need GTA5 graphics improvements.

I see this also. And there's a new group of people that just want to play GTA Online all day and care more about the smooth framerate, but I guarantee you the old ways will come back.

GTA V will get story mode DLC and lots of people will go back to the story mode, GTA Online will slowly die out and we will be left with a single player game that doesn't look as good as it can. I respect Boris's opinion and if he doesn't want to work on the mod then I agree he should work on something he wants to. But damn, it's a shame.

Re: GTA 5 0.275

It's true that people don't need "more" graphics in GTA V. Rockstar did a good job on that aspect.

On the other hand, things like proper (roof etc) deformation of cars is something mandatory. If you focused on things like that instead of plain graphic extension (read eye candy stuff) for GTA V, having ENB for it would become mandatory and the downloads would skyrocket.
