Re: TES Skyrim 0.302

Everybody with crashes in 0.302, do you run Afterburner or RivaTuner? If not, have you tried to toggle effects of the mod to find out which leads to issues?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.302

I'm not running Afterburner nor RivaTuner, but I've noticed when the black screen happens, the nvidia systray icon appears again (I have it disabled).

I haven't tried disabling effects because it's really random, sometimes I load the game and it runs perfect, sometimes, this happens:
1. open the game
2. I see Bethesda logo, I see the main menu.
3. load any save, see loadscreen.
4. Finished load, I get a black screen, I can't do anything, no console, no enb menu.
5. ctrl+alt+sup, open taskman, see skyrim running and an error window which I can't see. I stop skyrim, error window disappears.

I'll try the 0.301 when I get home.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.302

I can't fix such things. Who guarantee it's not other software, drivers or game itself? People also non objective, including myself. I've tried to install many mods for skyrim several weeks ago and have found that at certain actions game crashes in 90%. Deleting the mod and it works. Okay, i started to turn off everything in the mod to find what the problem is - no result. Then tried again without mod and it not works. Tried again - still not works. Once again - it works. Yes, with the mod bug seems occurs more frequent, but it doesn't mean bug in the mod, it's all multithreading issues, too heavy load of threads, missing moments of syncronisation - The End. I did a lot of changes in 0.302 (or 0.301, don't remember which one) and these changes prevents simple testing, i can't just restore parts of the files or entire files, which means for testing i need stable results if it works or not, but users can't make even base tests when i'm asking, they leave silently, end of story.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.302

Thanks for the test Boris, I will try it as soon as I get home tonight. I don't run either of RivaTuner or Afterburner.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.302

Unfortunately I keep getting the same error with 0.301

Is there any dump or log you want me to share?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.302

Test attached and report which works, which not. Ignore graphical glitches if they appear, just test crashes.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.302

All three versions crash for me. If I go back to .292 it works.
