Re: TES Skyrim 0.112 KAGE

i have a big problem with ENB, when i setup lighting etc, and all is perfect, in whiterun is always too bright.

If i lower directligting or touch enbeffect to make whiterun perfect, everywhere else is too dark.

Any fix?

Also, sunny days are usually having less lighting than days with few clouds.

Please help!

Perhaps you have mod installed which modify weather, day and night trigger work from clearing color of sky, so if someone modify it incorrectly, result is what you have. I can't help.

Enhok, I think most (or all? Can't remember, been a while) cloudy weathers are poorly balanced by the developers and as a result they have too much contrast and sunlight when compared to clear weathers. You need to use CK to fix the issue. Also, I think the Whiterun clear weather might be a bit brighter than some of the other clear weathers, but I'm not sure. T.A.Z. wrote that he has been fiddling with the weather types recently, so hopefully he'll chime in.

Also, if you're using console to trigger weathers when tweaking, be sure to trigger only the correct weather type for each location.

Beside that, if u are the Dark Dungeon creator, grats for it!

I use, love and endorsed your mod!

ill try uninstall RCRN and try with realistic lighting.

Do i have to uncomment applygamecolor correction in enbeffect.fx to make the RCRN/Realistic lighting to work?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.112 KAGE

Enhok, sure I'm the same guy, glad you found it useful. I don't have much time these days, but if you have any suggestions, let me know.

I have found a half-assed workaround to make Realistic Lighting work without the original colour correction, but since I don't have a good understanding on how shader code works, Boris might laugh me out of the room... Anyway, here goes. Apply the original colour correction by uncommenting it, but comment out these lines near the end of the colour correction code:

Code: Select all

//	r1=r0.x * _c4 - r2;
//	r1=_c4.w * r1 + r2;
//	_oC0=_c5.w * r1 + r0;
Works with HD6 enbeffect.fx, haven't tested others. Be aware that my hack might break who knows what.

There is no black aura, it's ssao with huge AOamount set in enbseries.ini. Users asked to keep old ssao, the have it.

Btw why 12.1?
There is 12.4 and it looks nice (6930 here).

2ENBSeries:
Thx for answer, and for your work 8-) I'll try to adjust AOamount

2SubSneer:
I have some bad experience with 12.4, and according to this topic 12.1 is the most stable version now
