Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.309 BETA

Awesome! Thank you so much for your hard work!

For memory usage, my card gets pretty close to 8GB in SE with texture mods. But I think background processes are taking up ~1GB too.

One small note. Dynamic resolution scaling is broken with ENB. But that is disabled by default, and has to be turned on through the console. Probably no point worrying about it until someone finds a way to reactivate it properly.

My cards memory are to their fullest. Already tons of textures, runs perfect @4190x2357, but waiting for Boris's SSAO-SSIL to tone my resolution down. :D

I see. But I'm sure lots of users will miss this functionality as it was. If it's not too much time for you re-enabling it... would be usefull.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.309 BETA

Being fairly new to ENB + Skyrim, does Skyrim SE also need bFloatPointRenderTarget = 1?

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.309 BETA

Hm. Doesn't work for me: Skyrim loads with a black screen.

I've read the readme, so I tried removing all my crap (background apps, overlays).

I've also tried with a clean installation, just to be sure, but no luck.

My video card is an Asus GTX 970 Strix. Mi OS is Windows 10.

I'll investigate more and tell you if I discover the reason.

Is there a log file to check and see if something weird is going on?

You sure you waited enough to load it ? It takes time to load here on my installation too. It's like doing nothing when you stare black screen but eventually it works.

I don't know how to turn on dynamic resolution and why the heck i need to support it for graphics mod made for quality, not fps quantity.

Marty McFly
No, floating point render target is not required. But please use 64 bit render targets in video options of launcher, i'm not sure that will support other formats (Fallout 4 sucks because of 32 bit hdr).

Corvo
Wait 30 seconds at least, game have 8000+ shaders which must be processed by the mod.

No, subsurface scattering is not implemented.

Shift+Enter and some other keys have issues, i know this problem, but don't know yet why this happens, probably game capture keyboard input "agressively", so need to press keys in editor multiple times.
Colors you see are "fine", they are from old skyrim mod. For debugging purposes i tweak a lot values, so always mess with them, usually myself draw pure hdr output without tonemapping at all.

Oyama
Palette functionality removed, but you can use it as texture file declared in the shader via annotations. So i don't think it is required.

I'm not a man

Lol,... Boris!!.. that was my mothers name lol ;)

Ok, I feel terribly stupid. I waited about 30-40 seconds and game started.

Sorry for being dumb.
