Computation code of sss and how it's applied is the same for old skyrim and sse. The only difference is that clouds shadow in sse do influence sss, but when disabled, it's the same. Probably difference is because there is no ColorPower in SSE and it's easy to compare if you set it to 1 in old skyrim.

Since updating to 0.371/0.372 i get flickering water and green glowing textures of moss and stuff. Disabling smaa fixes the glowing textures, but the flickering water remains. Not sure whats causing the flickering water.

Well, I don't know if my question has something to do specifically with ENB, but lets go!
Why in SSE is impossible to make the grass look at least close to Old Skyrim quality ?
I'm talking specially about shadows. The Skyrim SE grass has a ugly shadow pattern in several places, that does not matter
how much or whatever we tweak, it never get closer to the old game........ =/

About Dragens problem.
I think the road mesh doesn't have specular on the dirt02 texture. The world mesh of SE has specular.

I dont know what to look at on screenshots with and without cloud shadows, don't see anything wrong.
About flickering water, i need some way to see it myself, but not happen for me.
Shadows - no idea. I dont know is it worth to change, people not bother with it no reporting.

Currently using Realistic Water 2 and nvidia driver 418.91. I will try a different driver and vanilla water later to see if it still flickers.

I believe that the problem with the moss are occuring only for those using presets with SMAA 1X code and having it enabled.
