Re: Fallout 4 0.467
these are my settings, but right now i temporarily disabled ENB cause i'm changing the weathers, so i have AO enabled in these settings.
Normally when i have ENB enabled and working, i have AO disabled.
EDIT: file deleted

Re: Fallout 4 0.467
yeah, it probably only happens in certain conditions.
Like i said it started happening after i installed a certain mod, but even going back to a start save and have the mod deleted completely for sure (cause it's with ba2 files),
it still happened, and the only way to fix it was to disable the ENB effect, so i don't know why this happens either, i dont have any logical explanation for it.
I'll mess around with my game some more, maybe one day i'll find out what triggers it..
EDIT: i have an idea it might be one of these F4SE plugins;

Since i checked all my mods thouroughly for cubemap problems.
And i suddenly realized that i installed 2 plugins that affect ENB in some way, i removed them both and now it's good.
I suspect it's the ENBHelper that does this, cause if i remember correctly it started happening a while back, and i only installed the first plugin 2 days ago.
And the second one just about at the same time i installed the EnhancedLightsandFX mod that i thought was the cause of my problems, which it isnt.
I know now cause i reinstalled it and delted the 2 plugins and now it's all good.

Check statistics tab in editor window, what changes there (if) when that problem happen at some camera angle.

Oh god, I had a idea, but now I can see.
How they spent triangles with useless things all over the map, all those skulls, useless outdoors decorations and a lot of other pointless things....
It is the reason that even on consoles(even new generation) there are people crashing in downtown Boston. (multiples random events in small area too)
They should have hired a "digital feng shui" expert.

Re: Fallout 4 0.468
Beth should just not use a single distance for LOD loading, just like Unity, you can set the LOD loading range of each object separately in Unity, and even the LOD stages distances for each object separately, that would help a lot in keeping the poly's and verts down. The whole approach of the creation engine is messy, shadow rendering shaders are a mess too. it couldn't hurt if they use a few sublime programmers to re-code that engine.
Let's hope that they fix a few of these problems in Starfield, or i can guarantee you a buggy mess again when they release that game.

Re: Fallout 4 0.468
well, i couldn't get the cubemap bug fixed in any way, not even a vanilla game without mod fixed it, so i uninstalled ENB and installed Reshade, now the problem is solved.
So it was definitely something in ENB, dunno why it popped up all of a sudden, cause i have been playing with it for years without problems.
But once it started doing that, it could only be fixed by taking ENB out.
Oh well, i guess i'll have to get used to the fact that sometimes this game is a nasty piece of work.
I didn't try reinstalling the entire game from scratch, too much work, could potentially work though, maybe some time in the future.
