I bought Pico 4 from Aliexpress, no drivers are needed, it’s cheap compared to other HMDs (28 thousand rubles) and the quality is amazing. Oculus is too complex

Re: TES Skyrim VR 0.495

Pico 4 is shit, same as all other helmets which uses li-ion batteries and no base stations. I'm not rich to replace helmet every time battery dies and almost always working in dark room with minimal light which fail to track it. I didn't buy valve cause their controllers fails after half year to year cause of battery and have very short play time making it unusable for me, when i spend 15 hours just to do mod with helmet powered and i never play 2 hours, it's some bad joke.

for Pico 4 there is a pack of batteries called Bobo VR, I bought it on ozon for 4 thousand rubles (the kit includes two batteries and a charging station), a very convenient thing, enough for an unlimited amount of time with hot swapping.

I managed to buy Pico 4 for 28 thousand on aliexpress and Bobo VR double pack on ozon for 4 thousand rubles.

Re: TES Skyrim VR 0.495

I will not waste any single cent on VR anymore, can spend money for something much more worthy. Especially when i say not interested in Pico and somebody tells me opposite. I have my own criterias by which did a choice about oculus and described them already, there is no way to change my opinion after i made it researching months before buying.

Re: TES Skyrim VR 0.495

Hello Boris, is it possible that the VR gets ENB parameters for water (especially brightness)? You once said you had to find out all the water shaders, but that would be too time-consuming. I would like to take over if you tell me what to do?

Re: TES Skyrim VR 0.495

Nobody can do that but me. And it means must go everywhere in the game world at different game video setting to see which water shaders used. But as i said, not interested to modify this game any more.

Re: TES Skyrim VR 0.495

Hi Boris, how are you? Hope all is well. Life is not always easy, but eventually there is always a light somewhere.

Awesome you bought a helmet replacement! Does not really matter which one, you know what you need. Agreed about the colors/black levels though.. OLED is so much better, especially for ENB's. You're also right about another thing, only you can make them happen. The VR community needs you though, so we hope you reconsider. As mentioned before, VR sales are on the rise and nothing beats its experience, especially with your additions. You make a difference and we are always looking forward to your contributions, thank you for all your work and inspiration over the years.

Regarding expenses, weren't you going to setup a fundraiser @ hitmantb? I will support it.

PS: This topic reached 5 pages.. classic and SE users, wake up already!

Re: TES Skyrim VR 0.495

I'm not glad at all about replacement of helmet, which don't even have sound and have exactly the same issue with dark colors being awful. Put it for sale and nobody interested to buy it, of course. And there is no point to tell how good and cool my work is, such tricks do not work on me, i am highly unsatisfied with my vr experience, not want to do anything.
