Re: TES Skyrim 0.154 beta

No loading delays here. Re-tested in extreme quality modes. Still average 6 fps gain. Game is now smoothly playable for me with extreme quality modes. I happy

Re: TES Skyrim 0.154 beta

Okay, i'll continue optimizing then.
Longer startup and reloading is because of another shader compiler (i refused to write in assembly, too much job after each changes in high level language).

Re: TES Skyrim 0.154 beta

@ Boris
~8 fps gain, on AMD CrossFire setup. Better SSAO-CSSIL, better complex effects overall. Less stutters, tested @2160p, with SSAO scales values @0.7071. Thank you for the update, mate.

EDIT: Fixed mistakes in text, data was wrong.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.154 beta

@Zeroking, what performance increase/decrease do you get on single GPU?

@ UnrealWarfare and Boris

NOTE: single GPU, average values, @2160p, SSAO-CSSIL @0.7071, with no mods added, no changes in Skyrim ini files. Same location (heavily forested area in Riften), ten minute gameplay each. All latest drivers.

Tested with AMD 7970, get ~4 fps increase
Tested with AMD 6970, get ~2 fps increase.
Tested with AMD 5870, get ~4 fps decrease.

Tested with NVIDIA GTX 680, get ~4 fps increase.
Tested with NVIDIA GTX 580, get ~5 fps increase.
Tested with NVIDIA GTX 470, get ~4 fps increase.

Willing to bet different AMD cards will experience plus/minus framerate, due to drivers and architecture. Hope the data helps.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.154 beta

Hi, first I just want to say thank you. I love ENB, i would use it for all games if i could :D
Anyhow i have been messing around with it for awhile, and "kinda" starting to know my way around.
I noticed some weird stuff with SSAO 1.53 vs 1.54 "Complex on and off" some strange effect around characters that makes odd shades on the surface behind them."I think it looks like black oil or ink on water", wondering if it just me or anybody else getting same? It get more visible on bright surfaces at higher Ambient Intensity - Ambient amount and I think IL Amount (best way to replicate result i guess".
I think 1.53 looks a bit cleaner and nicer, but that might be just some more adjusting needed from my side and is clearly affected by the odd ssao effect i am getting
I am using 314.07 on two 680gtx 4gb

Re: TES Skyrim 0.154 beta

Ssao is different in 0.154 when it quality is not 2, i don't see issue, so post your ssao_ssil config and screen resolution info, may be at some combinations it's appear only.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.154 beta

Proudspire Manor when i pan around the room some shades seem to pull out o place slightly while being blurred then pop back. Outside i havent seen it yet the places i have been and i havent found any other interior places yet. Got no city texture mods and i tried turning off and on all mods. Sorry I was a little hasty on first post, but ill look some more around and check:)
Screen res 1920x1080 @ 60fps average
Most likely not ideal, but it worked nicely on 1.53 @ Proudspire Manor and other places

PS:Btw its just your ENB default files no effect files or modded fx files, except the adjustments i made in the enbseries.ini and enbeffect.fx in the asigned areas by you:) I havent touched prepass yet, was thinking adjusting dof and such last.

Thanks, I'll test on my HD6870 later and report back any difference I find.
