Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.445

Ever thought about working together with someone from the community who does the marketing.
He could do the stuff you are not into it.
Out of millions of skyrim fans, I'm pretty sure there would be someone glad to help.
Handling social media, patreon, talking to gaming websites and so on. That way you could focus more on stuff you like to do, like coding.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.445

No thanks, my life already is coding and nothing else basically.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.445

Version updated, download again
Replaced enbbloom.fx shader by slower and higher quality version with tweakable parameters. Dll is not changed.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.445

Does the "slower" mean less fps ?

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.445

Ok, thanks. I'm curious though, because I'm at the limit of my system with this game - how big impact to the fps are we talking about approximately ? 1% ? 10% ?
And does the impact depend on the tweaking of the parameters ? Or is the fps impacted just with the new enbbloom.fx shader in game directory ?

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.445

It's very individual per videocard and display resolution.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.445

Ok, I thought so.
Well, I have 1080ti and resolution is 3840x1600
I'm getting under 30 fps in some places, so not sure if it's a good idea or a bad idea to use this new shader...

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.445

Wow, are you running Skyrim with an ENB at 4K resolution? No wonder your FPS drops below 30... I have a 2080Ti and i9900K and I cant play at 4K with an ENB installed, but thats mainly because I like to have 60 fps so Im satisfied with 1080p and lot of highres-text-mods instead. 8-)

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.445

Yeah, well, I have fps globally limited to 40fps (I like cool and quiet system) and in most areas in Skyrim I get this 40 fps. (could probably even get more if not the limiting) But there are some areas and some interiors with many light sources, that drag my fps down. that's why I'm worried about any new features that have the potential to worsen the situation.

I'm waiting for the next gen graphics card to play Skyrim without the need to think about these things. I have to say - Skyrim in 4K and a lots of high quality graphical mods + ENB looks unbelievable good.
