Re: TES Skyrim 0.121 beta
The deathbell glow and mushroom glow seem to have something to do with the bloommult curve.

@Boris
As you all know, Bethesda supposedly made the Skyrim executable large address aware so that the game would utilize up to 4gb of RAM. What I've found though is that I actually have to still apply a 4gb patch. Using this one - http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php (Been using that one since Oblivion and Fallout. works like a charm)
After I apply this patch, my game never crashes to desktop. However, if I play with Steam ONLINE, Steam will update my exe files again with their version. Next thing you know, my game crashes all the time again. So,the final fix for this I've found is that I need to run Steam in OFFLINE mode, apply the 4gb patch on Skyrim Launcher.exe, TESV.exe and SKSE.exe (or whatever the .exe is called for SKSE.) Doing this has resolved 95% of my crashes.
Not sure if over memory usage can result in a BSOD or not. Probably depends age and stability of hardware, but this is a good practice to use as a safeguard. We all know how Steam loves to keep their greedy paws on our game files

I'm WinXP x86 user, so largeaddressaware not helpful absolutely and i can't use 3gb flag in boot.ini, because with it many applications and games crashing, bsod'ing, freezing. Also when i turn on skylighting, bug appear very fast and if everything enabled, then less than 1 minute till ctd or bsod. Internally in the mod nothing horrible changes, the same amount of video memory usage, just additional computations.
Tried to swap power connector (don't know how properly to say in english), decreased gpu and vram frequency almost twice, but no luck. And my gpu is 54 degrees by celcius with all fx enabled (such low because i did manual modding of pc case).
Guys, i definetly need to know wtf is with things you talking about, what are those mushrooms and where to find? I only know whiterun, solitude, dragonreach and nord village, but not because played there, so make a screenshots how to get to these buggy objects (savegames will not work, because you all have modded games).

Those are the glowing mushrooms (behind the character, on the wall), they can be found on the walls in caves, dungeons and other under ground levels in skyrim.
That pictures show either with no ENB use or a very low Bloom and some other effect (I can't remember right now). With ENB on it makes the mushrooms glow with neon like light.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.121 beta
I'm back to .119 due to the inability to use driver-based aa schemes. smaa is not much better visually than no aa when running @ 1080p resolution. And smaa comes no where close to 2x2 ssaa + 2x msaa (what nvidia calls 8xQ), or even 8x csaa, for either visuals, or avoiding sudden severe frame rate decreases, and smaa at the highest settings gives me a lower frame rate compared to 2x2 ssaa + 2x msaa. I'm really sad that you, Boris, decided to disable AA via drivers, but I know you have your reasons. Aside from that, I saw no real improvement in either .120 or .121 over .119, so there's no real reason for me to upgrade right now.
I do, however, continue to appreciate all the work you do, and will continue to make donations from time to time. Hopefully I'm not in a minority on either point, and a future update will turn out to be the one I'm waiting for.
Cheers

@Boris - Yeah, if you're on x86 XP guess you can exclude 4gb as a random crash culprit then. I say we all donate towards your next computer build I got $50 for Boris if anyone is willing to pitch-in
Re: TES Skyrim 0.121 beta
Here are some comparison shots of the weird coloring issues. I haven't changed any of the ENB settings from default. Other instances I've noticed: ash piles from creatures raised by necromancy, normally grey-purple, are now yellow-orange. Burnt wood such as in Helgen after the dragon attack has odd blue highlights in it.
From left to right is frost spell effect, deathbell, and glowing mushroom. You can get those from the ingredients box in qasmoke.
Without ENB
With ENB
Also I would like to thank you for all your work on this project. The improvements are very noticeable and especially with this version, performance drop is quite low.

Okay, so as you seem to work with a buggy a hell computer, Boris, can you trust your bugtesting of ENB?
I mean, perhaps, all you did while developing 0.121 was right, and it just looks and performs crappy at your computer?
You said self, sometimes, you don't know why some things you have done don't work the way you planed, for example the problem with noise pattern, 4*4* jitter texture and skylighting:
It's just an idea, a shot into the blue...

Perhaps, it is, it's just your hardware showing it wrong? Or some software interfering? How "clean" is your Windows?should be very nice, but in fact it's not.

Seems to be quite true. You know your coding like breathing. Perhaps unwanted bugs are simply due to GPU failure if all computations are right....
I think you should take some time off coding new things, time for you to rest a bit, and quietly identify what's wrong with your PC.
You've been on a roll these last times, and with several games. Might be good to take a pause, what do you think ?
