Re: TES Skyrim 0.213
Boris, do you think it's possible to develop point lighting on grass or is that a limitation of the engine? Thanks

Re: TES Skyrim 0.213
Soon there will be a mod that allows very high uGrids crashes by fixing
uGrids at 13:Altimor on Facepunch.com wrote:"A recursive cell rendering function. Due to an unused logging function after the recursive call, the compiler used a CALL rather than a JMP- this caused a new call stack to be created, when rendering too many cells the game would eventually exceed the CPU's stack size limit."

Thanks for the info, appreciated. Any one else want to share their SLI experience with Skyrim and ENB??
Cheers!
SLI Scales just fine for Skyrim, I find that with the 660ti's at least drivers are more of an issues than anything else. Currently I have to use 314.07 drivers to have a stable experience with almost any game I play while using SLI. All 320.XX drivers I have tested (and I have tested them all except the current beta) have been terrible and caused problems.
Skyrim seems to use both of my cards to the max when I play in surround with HD texture mods, I know this because I a monitor everything. I find this both with and with out ENB in use.. Skyrim has been around a long time so there is a lot of information out there you can find that will help you optimize your set up to get the best performance out of your rig while playing it.
I get almost twice the framerate in most games with SLI enabled vs using a single 660ti.
I also find that overclocking with software like GPU Tweak or MSI Afterburner tends to be problematic with some games..
I would advise that you do as much searching as you can on this subject..

Re: TES Skyrim 0.213
Damn it, i'm so tired, frustrated and lazy, that can't do anything. Did color controls, letterbox and vignette for shader pack and stuck with sharpening, not wrote any single line, only thinking how to make it fast without using internal mod changes, how to make it work together with other filters without increasing complexity of files for users, which parameters to add to it and which types of processing. I have no idea how to relax, but in such state of mind can "work" without any results very long time. Even modding don't allow me to run away from bad thoughts and real life, i hope it's just because of latest contacts with ENBoost users, but if not, modding will turn in to pain as everything else and i'll drop it.

Boris,
Take a break and unwind. .213 is amazing. Incredibly stable and no issues on my end to report with it.
Thanks so much for the work you've put into this.

@ Boris
Maybe you need a little soul-searching? Something else that drives you forward, something you would enjoy doing. And don't ever force yourself to do something for the masses, do things for yourself. Best policy is that you do what you enjoy best and the rest, which may be out of your hands, will run its course. Maybe enjoying gaming instead of modding for us might be a turn-around for you...... after all, you've been quite active with updates that you've worn yourself out. I know I would be.
Take it easy, mate. You deserve it. Life is bigger, you may just need to explore it a bit more.

Don't have anything in life to enjoy. Sounds silly, but it's a fact or don't know what else can i do. Little interest to something ends after 5 minutes. Games don't give me any more fun and after half an hour of playing getting nervious like something important not done or similar to state when you wasn't at home very long time when stay at friend to play (guess many of us did this in childhood).
Well, i'm just complaining to "endevtwitter", doesn't matter.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.213
Boris,
I wish you the best man. All I can say is, I can relate. Sometimes talking about it helps, but sometimes, I just do random searches on Google for things like "life sucks" (sometimes I get more creative) and read the forum posts from people who feel the same way. It almost makes me feel sometimes like there are real people out there that feel the same, and that I am not so alone in a world of brainless humandrillas. (I use that world all the time now! XD)
One thing I find also helps, is to change things up every once in a while. I don't know if you're a big reader, but sometimes just taking a step back to the printed page can help me "unplug." If you haven't ever read it, I'd suggest getting a Russian translation of William Gibson: Neuromancer. Or maybe download and watch the entire Cowboy Bebop series... That's something I've been meaning to do lately.
I actually had a day off from my nightmare useless wage slave job today and thought I would change things up by playing FFXIV a little, then they took the stupid thing down for 10 hour maintenance. FML! XD
I'm downloading the latest ENB to test out the new changes. I don't know if it makes you feel any better, but having ENB to play with this last year has made a big difference in my life, just so you know.
