Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.372

@Anubis

That's due to the fact the mod changes waterflow records in ESP, so it has nothing to do with shaders.
Plus, there are tons of settings that are being controlled from within ESP plugin, from opacity and murkiness to water color and reflective amount.
Also it can (and it does) replace meshes to give you better looking waterfalls, water foams, splashes, etc + better textures.

On top of that, Weather Mods tends to change the look of the water, they way it reflects and behaves under various circumstances during different weathers.

Anubis
Game have certain set of shaders and any native mods can't add any new, they just pick one of existing and change input variables.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.372

Do you remember in 0.371 you changed calculations for the background clearing colour? It seems to be stuck at the horizon colour now rather than trending towards the ground/fog colour. The result is anything on or below the horizon is very bright.

random007 -- Now it works as it should, just tweak the sky horizon intensity and use a JawZ sky mesh.

I said it will be buggy sometime no matter which values i use as reference for background color. Now it's the sky horizon color, but fog will be the same crap, just in other weather.

That is with the most recent ENB and smooth sky mesh. Oblivion weathers is the only other mod of interest installed.

LOL. :) Fair enough. Personally I found the old calculation better, but that's just me. Would it be possible to add parameters for various factors to allow some customisation (such as dawn/sunrise/day/sunset/night intensity and desaturation amounts), or even just a switch to restore the older method?

random007 -- I think what you are seeing there is one of the culling data glitches opening a hole in the sea, like what this mod tries to address.

edit: although I also think that background clearing might correspond to one of the cloud layers when using no textures, kojak747 had a picture of it in his weather guide:

"Finally, let's look at cloud layer 28. This is the true horizon. Cloud layer 28 uses a cloud texture that you can change to your liking. In addition to setting the true horizon color, it also sets the color underneath the map in case a cell block of ocean doesn't load and you see through it."

I'm using Obsidian which mods the weather in this way to provide a reasonably smooth horizon under most weathers and times of day. It seems that ENB overrides those colours completely, however. I'll check out that mod though. Thanks.
