It sure is, there some sort of reptilian creatures in there and also some tentacle creature as well. Well I meant disabling the cloud layers to bring forth the actual sky and not something that sits on top of it, was a bit unclear on that matter now that I read my own post. But good to know for certain that the vectors are assigned to check up on the suns visibility.
And yes I was referring to the DLC2ApocryphaClimateNew climate and weather. Ok will do that now and come back with my feedback on the matter at hand.
EDIT:
Here are the results with the tempF6 d3d9.dll test file.
1:00PM Skyrim=13.0040, DLC2ApocryphaClimateNew=13.0040
6:30PM Skyrim=18.5121, DLC2ApocryphaClimateNew=18.5121
7:30AM Skyrim=7.5105, DLC2ApocryphaClimateNew=7.5105
I had the same values with DLC areas that had a visible sun.

For the gui, I would suggest only showing the values that are being interpolated to. This should be enough especially if the gui shows the name of the config file that you are editing.
It could also be made more clear by showing the name of the weather that is being interpolated from and the interpolation value.

Thank you!
Okay, sun have always the same "path", so i'll use it as additional time detector. Back to work.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.166
Another test. It's different sun detection algorithm, i remember that with some weather mod sun parameters controlled moons, so check out if this do not have such issue.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.166
If I'm following you correctly you are working a new Detector method? if so I need to redo my testing as I really didn't now what to look for but if it is the Night/Day detection based on the sun position I would check the iinput and output more closely.
I didn't experience any bugs or mishaps with the latest d3d9.dll you uploaded, I tested it in both Skyrim and DLC areas with a timescale set to 20000 to speed things up a little.
I noticed now that you have added some extra nifty little things under the statistics tab, didn't notice that until know will comapare this d3d9.dll with the older 0.168 d3d9.dll to see what has changed.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.166
Day/night detector is not included in these tests and old will not be replaced.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.166
Ok well what exactly am I supposed to be looking out for? As I don't personally know of any mod that impacts the game with sun parameters changing the moon. I haven't encountered that any of the sun settings changing the moon in anyway during my tests.
I'm currently not running any mod except Skyrim Project Optimization, which adds occlusion planes to some interiors and Alternate Start - Live Another Life which skips the gameplay intro. And then I use all the official DLC's with the latest HD texture pack released by Bethesda and that's it.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.166
Set sun intensity to very huge value and check if only sun have big brightness. If moons will be also or sun once toggle to brightness from moons, then test failed. Sun and moons share same data and differ only by texture and transform matrices (scale, position, rotation), in all versions i'm detecting sun by it's distance from camera (as i said, some mods reported not work with this). In this test version i detect sun by it's path on the sky (angle of path to be exact).

Re: TES Skyrim 0.166
I tested this with Climates of Tamriel weather mod. Have not seen anytime sun parameters affecting moon.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.166
I set both the sun intensity and sun rays intensities to 10 before you posted and I only saw the sun being affected by those settings, I ran the timescale at 20000 and tested it in both Skyrim, DLC worlds and apocrypha world none of the areas had the sun settings affect moon.
