But i never saw "local" in any configs, except registry (bad example) and some network software, at leat for me it's not feeling clear.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.192

Hi, I'd like to report some issues with the newest v0.192.

Like many people, I was having a lot of problems with CTDs when the 3.1Gb limit was reached. So I was excited to see that v0.192 had a memory control feature.

I installed the first v0.192, and I had the same pink/missing texture problem that everyone did. Vram and RAM at nearly 100%, but the game ran very smoothly, no CTDs.

With the second v.192, I have an extreme FPS drop (from 60 to 20). Not hitting the 3.1Gb limit, but now having random CTDs (on clicking map, on fast travel, on looking from sky to ground, etc.), both with ReduceSystemMemoryUsage on or off.

I'm stuck. Any ideas or solutions? Thanks.

I think : EnbConfig.ini for local settings
EnbPreset.ini for presets.

You can add an EnbWeather.ini for TOD.

I am French and it makes sense for me.

Agreed. ;) But with enbsetup.ini instead of preset.

I still think that enbsystem for local and enbgraphics for sharing would be the most self explanatory names for what the files cover and does.

I'm not telepathist, but let me try.

Sun sprite mod installed? Without it flashing not occur? With it, but with version 13.7.13 occur? I don't understand where sun is, behind camera or under ground (night).

Your videocard model and ram/vram sizes? As i said, for me performance is the same, and no ctd, unless some dependency will be found (hardware, driver, os), there is no solution.
but now having random CTDs..., both with ReduceSystemMemoryUsage on or off.
Are you sure? By comparing the code i don't see any reason for that.

I woll not change enbseries.ini name, ok?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.192

Boris, you already read about my problem in another thread.
Now i'm sure it is a v0.192 problem. The brightness with 13.7.13 is the same for me as with v0.168.
With v0.192 everything is so bright that the face of my character is glowing. Maybe there are some problems with adaptation?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.192

My PC is Intel 3570K, 8Gb RAM, Win 7, 7950 (3Gb VRAM) and running the 12.104 Catalyst drivers.

Here are two CTDs, recorded in Skyrim Resource Monitor:
Image

First is with ReduceSystemMemoryUsage on. Happens after a short game pause.

Second CTD is with ReduceSystemMemoryUsage off. It comes right after a missing texture appears (I think it's a SFO tree texture - appears black).

Don't run away, i'll make several builds for testing and post here (otherwise i can't fix).

From graph i don't understand anything. Game freeze and first ctd means that memory is enough, so internal mod bug, driver bug or game bug itself, it's not the problem of method of memory freeing i'm using. The last ctd just means that you trying to do things which not possible at all or it's driver specific problem. I make a lot of memory available, but it doesn't mean infinite amount of it. More than that, graph is not typical, 80-120 zone is when game loaded, but what happening at 190 is strange, vram is available yet, but ram start to decrease. May be you set some extreme lod detail levels or installed all texture packs from nexus? Or game simply won't unload resources by some reason... Hard to say from results of one user, but could you make similar tests with version 13.7.13 (if you use enbseries as graphic mod, otherwise test with vanilla) in same locations and whatever you did in game?
