No, I still get AO flickering, well it's more of an abrupt off when the sun/shadow is in a certain position.
vid may still be getting processed by youtube when I post this.

Re: Dark Souls 2 v0257
And what about crashes if not NT4 mode set?

I've never suffered with gameplay crashes, only sometimes when I ALT+Tab out of the game it crashes in while running in the background.ENBSeries wrote:And what about crashes if not NT4 mode set?

Re: Dark Souls 2 v0257
I'm still getting the flickering with this. It's the same as wickfurtwickfurt http://youtu.be/D762Re-2DVUENBSeries wrote:It's not debugging, it's testing. But i need debugging. Anyway, did some thread locking for certain functions, hope game do not call other while loading, i can't log all of them, it's hundred megabytes to review. Test ao flickering and crashes, if improved.

Re: Dark Souls 2 v0257
Tried again to run in that tower ignoring enemies, no flickering anywhere. Just test if stability increased or not, if it's not, then problem is different kind (but multithreading issues act exactly like that).

Re: Dark Souls 2 v0257
I get almost no flickering, except when I'm staring into a bright light source such as the sun, sometimes the AO will switch off under certain angles. So it's not dependent on where I stand in the level, but where I'm looking at. When I stare at the sun at Heide's Tower, I get AO disappearing if I look at an angle of 20 degrees higher than the horizon.
I still often get crashes whenever I resize the window. But during normal gameplay, even when travelling and warping lots, I get no crashes (but I never did).

Re: Dark Souls 2 v0257
I thought it was bright lights causing the flickering. But then I got flickering in dark areas, and would get no flickering in very bright areas.midhras wrote:I get almost no flickering, except when I'm staring into a bright light source such as the sun, sometimes the AO will switch off under certain angles. Re: Dark Souls 2 v0257
Yeah, you're right. It also happens when I look away at the sun. Not a lot though.

Re: Dark Souls 2 v0257
Boris, I've found something very odd about this bug. When facing in a direction that causes the AO to turn off, if you fire a arrow, when the arrow hits a wall it re-enables the AO for a split second: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0lHKg628U8
