Re: TES Skyrim 0.243

Work fine, apart from the water edges and the caustic, but this is a know problem that i had in the past.

Interior water bypassed from any processing, so it's completely bugs on your side, f.e. interior/exterior detection fail because of wrong skyrimprefs.ini setting or mods installed which produce sun light in interiors. Also this may be just because interior water disabled, but it was in older versions (buggy) and you believe previous is vanilla water look.
OK, but the difference I get between ENB versions is with exactly the same skyrimprefs.ini settings and mod list (the only difference between the screenshots are the ENB versions - they were taken a minute apart or so). In short, I doubt that it is a "bug on my side", as the issue should be the same in both ENB versions then.

EDIT: I just made sure that the WATER settings are exactly the same between the ENB versions - but that didn't help.

Arkngt
On the shots water is with caustics as i understand, so you count as bug disabled water processing, i.e. vanilla.

Not sure what you mean. Yes, true, with vanilla I don't get the visible water. But I got visible water with the first ENB versions covering water, although with the latest releases it's gone. And the only difference is different ENB versions.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.243

Re: TES Skyrim 0.243

Let's try to wrap this up.

As far as I understand the ENB water effects for the interior water volumes have been disabled a few versions back. Intentionally.
There's a bug in the vanilla implementation of water in the temple of Kynaresh obviously, but it's not the ENB's fault.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.243

Got a question towards the water.
It might be a feature and more realistic, but as soon as I activate enb I don't get those white reflections on the whole water anymore.
Only on a sunny day if I'm looking at the right angle towards the sun. I thought it looked really nice.

Example enb off
http://s7.directupload.net/images/140104/7slmzrnn.jpg
Example enb on
http://s14.directupload.net/images/140104/6gpj2f5y.jpg

I got a modified realvision enb with low settings 0.243
UseOriginalPostProcessing=false
EnableBloom=true
EnableAdaptation=true
EnableAmbientOcclusion=false
EnableDepthOfField=false
UseOriginalObjectsProcessing=false
EnableDetailedShadow=true
EnableSunRays=true
EnableSkyLighting=true
EnableReflection=true
EnableImageBasedLighting=true
EnableSoftParticles=true
EnableParticleLights=true
EnableSubSurfaceScattering=true
EnableSunGlare=true
EnableLens=true
EnableWater=true
EnableUnderwater=true
EnableCloudShadows=false
EnableVolumetricRays=true

Thanks in advance

Re: TES Skyrim 0.243

I just examined TempleKynareth pool of water through CK, and the water mesh file (water1024.nif) does not even have the texture file. Bethesda has a list of water mesh files like the horse trough which they used the BSWaterShaderProperty setting to render water. Since these does not have a texture file, ENB won't be able to do the wave amplitude calculation. I modified the horse trough mesh to at least render the light reflection, so these mesh files must modded to render correctly. The "BS" stands for "B"ethe"S"da, and those settings are Bethesda specific.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.243 - some other problems with AMD cards

Hi there & greetings to all! 1st post on these forums.

First of all - Thanks a million for ENB Boris, I can't begin to describe how much I love it & how much visual joy it's brought me so far.
It's always the first mod I'm installing after getting a game ENB is available for. It's an absolute MUST for me.

I thought I'd post some screenies for reference and comparison between binaries, maybe they are of some help.

I'm an AMD Radeon user as well & I got the same problems with water after v0.240 and pre v0.243 rev 4 Jan 2014.
This problem only occurs on binaries 0.241 (version 26 December, versions before that date I can't tell) and up.
0.240 and before run fine.
Turning off displacement brought the waves back on binaries 0.241 and 0.243 pre rev 4 Jan 2014.
Thanks a lot Boris for fixing water in v0.243 rev 4 Jan 2014!

However I noticed other problems, it's not only the water that has changed since v0.241.
Some ground cover looks changed as well: The gravel on Dawnstar coast for example changed as well (for the worse), in binary v0.241 and up (also in v0.243 rev 4 Jan 2014) it looks flat, without details, feeling of 3D/depth, and shadowing (SSAO not working? Parallax not working? Sorry, layman here).
In v0.243 rev 4 Jan 2014 on top of that it became much darker (see the dark areas in water+landscape shots below as well as in gravel shots).
In v0.240 it looks fine with a feeling of 3D/depth and shadowing.
Very strangely, the different look also occurs with ENB DISABLED! (???)
I have SweetFX on top of ENB, maybe that's the culprit??

On top of that, the DoF effect also changed since v0.241 (again for the worse), problem is also present in v0.243 rev 4 Jan 2014.
Notice the background around the boat in the below screenshots, notice Kyo's correct DoF in v0.240 and the diffent DoF and blurred background in v0.241 and up.

I also have a problem with water shadows, they have a nasty looking raster/grid to them (see below screenshots - please look at it at full screen in original size; in the water+landscape shots it might be very hard to see or not really visible at all depending on your monitor - sorry!).

SweetFX settings:
http://pastebin.com/DpMz7t6j

My graphics card is a Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7870 OC 2GB, problems are the same on Catalyst 13.9 and 13.12.
Processor is Intel Core i7 3770K on Windows 7 64 Bit, 16 GB RAM.

(On every water shot with ENB on, notice the raster/grid in the shadow below the longboat!)

Re: TES Skyrim 0.243

Kirsten
Grid from water shadows is "EnableShadowNoise=true".
Dof unchanged, i think it's just focusing plane differ, because water have depth with one of versions which have volumetric rays.
Dawnstar coast location is unknown to me, but i'll try to find it from your screenshots.
