I have no problems with sun rays, except now the value has to be much lower.
I love the new .123 it looks really really good, especially SSAO, although I'm not sure what the new values do. But just playing around with it gave me some satisfying results.
I have turned skylighting off, as I'm not getting that GI look that some have (opethfeldt). To me it only makes ambient light darker. Setting SSAO to radius 1, type 1, and mix 1 is giving me a kind of faked skylighting. But it is definatly not optimal at all.
Speaking of reflections. The values don't seem to do much difference. I tried setting intensity and power to 100 both, and that increased the reflections a bit I think, but I'm not really sure. Setting both to 0.0 also did nothing..
Looking forward to play around some more with these settings.. What settings is working best for you guys in here? Both SSAO, Skylight, and reflections.

Reflection parameters limited to values where they not applied too much wrong. Reflections can't be higher than 1 at all, but i did 4 max (if remember).

Power doesn't work like you think. Lower is stronger. Around 0.6 is good. Lower starts to get really strong.kalicola wrote:I have no problems with sun rays, except now the value has to be much lower.

Wow that looks incredible, great job boris. But I'm not greedy, I don't need all this fancy stuff. I think my Skyrim already looks as good as it'll ever need to be. The only thing I wish for is to fix the first person translucency. Has that been done, or is it not possible?

My offer to ship you a 570 for free still stands. You might have to put up with a tiny bit of noise.. but hey, free video card.
Must be something in my reflection settings. I'm not getting nearly such good results.

Proto: Can we see your reflection and specularity settings? .. I've notice that, if you turn off specularity, then reflections will be off too. So those two settings goes hand in hand I suppose. Does reflection intensity increase if you increase specularity?

Indeed, brilliant shots! It's obvious that reflections make a HUGE impact is some scenes.
