The new lenz shader separation will be awesome!
But... I still have the "shadow bug". It's not as apparent if you raise the Skylighting quality parameters to High, but it's there.
I've had the same .inis for 2-3 months. Raising shadow resolution, quality parameters etc doesn't help much. To me it seems it's related to [SKYLIGHTING] but I'm not sure...
BTW the lenz shader texture is cool! The skull is a funny addition. :mrgreen:

I can plainly confirm !insomnia_jt wrote:The new lenz shader separation will be awesome!
But above all things, the * control * allowed by this bloom/lens separation is really fantastic.
Impacting lens without impacting bloom and vice/versa is endless, once you start working on enblens.fx, believe my word !
BTW, Boris, could I dream about a [LENS] dedicated section for SUN only ? Wich would mean some "private" interactions between enbsunsprite.fx and enblens.fx ?.....

Re: TES Skyrim 0.223
Sun sprites are simplified form of same thing and they will not be connected to lens reflections.

Yeah, I noticed the same basics...ENBSeries wrote:Sun sprites are simplified form of same thing and they will not be connected to lens reflections.
Pity about the connection... :?
But hell, anyway that 0.223 is pure gold !

you can't avoid this noise totally you have to use the denoise filtersinsomnia_jt wrote:The new lenz shader separation will be awesome!

Re: TES Skyrim 0.223
Absolutely off-Topic
Boris, did you think about developing another AO method as an alternative to your actual SSAO, wich one can still use along SSIL ? Like HBAO ? Or are you plainly satisfied with your actual algorythm ?
You know I love the actual code, but just to know if it went through your mind.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.223
My code is not ssao and it's kind of hbao, but it's not. Don't see any sense to develop another code, it will not change anything, except performance, will look almost the same as current code with extreme quality preset and not big range. Problem is that i can't without huge performance cost (like complex indirect lighting enabled in 0.119 when aa enabled too) compute anything really radical.

Actually the result of SkyrimTuners work, the RealVision preset modder, not mine. I just have to say this is jawdropping awesomeness. You just think Boris does not have another trick in reserve and then the next white rabbit leaves the top hat.
Concerning the new EnableCompression=false feature, I realized a damned smooth Skyrim experience, no stutter, no control delay, nothing. But it comes with a lot more RAM usage for my heavily modded Skyrim, while VRAM seems to get less pressure. I would estimate the additional RAM usage at almost 500 MB (usually I won't get over 5,6/5,7 GB RAM outdoors, but now I actually reach values of up to 6,2 GB).
Settings:
ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true
ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true
DisableDriverMemoryManager=false
DisablePreloadToVRAM=false
EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false
ReservedMemorySizeMb=768
VideoMemorySizeMb=6144
EnableCompression=false
16 GB system RAM, 2 x Geforce GTX 670 SLI 4 GB RAM
My max so far was a RAM load of 7,4 GB while Video RAM usage was at 98,2% when I entered my modded player home and I really wondered why I did not CTD

Boris
I see.
Anyway, if you think it won't change most things and cause a huge performance cost, it's not worth it.
Actual code is already really fine, that was just out of curiosity

Re: TES Skyrim 0.223
Anyone else having problems with injector? I cant seem to control bloom with it there is on or off no adjusting. Hmm, I wonder if its because I didnt remove camerafx values and just added lens effects.. Probably only on my side or skyrim is borked, but wrapper works fine, weird.
