Thanks Boris, new water self-reflections look good - adds yet another layer of realism to the water
A while back you mentioned about maybe doing something with better quality shadows - is this still possible at some point in the future?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.231
Борис приветствую, я честно пару часов бегал по разным локациям с водой и смотрел на неё под разными углами, переключая параметр EnableSelfReflection, но разницы так и не увидел, хотя очень желал её увидеть. Что делаю не так?

I don't want to do shadows now, because they will not give huge visual impact, but require special code first to draw them much faster (batching), code for making them to sun aligned (this is extra performance cost, that's why optimization first), finally all dependent effects must be changed then. It's a lot of problems.

Batched shadows? Oh my. I'd be snogging your toes if you were to just add that for the next release. I assume you mean Geometry Instancing (or something) when you say batching?
On a side note, does GI work for meshes that have lighting effect and whatnot applied to them?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.231
Is anyone experiencing vsync issues but me? I'm getting 20-25 FPS in game using Oyama's wickedness, but 300+FPS on the menu screen. I haven't noticed any issues from it, just a crazy huge jump in my FPS on the menu screens and when you hit the '`' key to get into the console.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.231
I have actually been getting V-Sync issues as well. I thought at first I'd fixed them by enabling V-Sync in the driver with nVidia Inspector...but despite that change, I am still getting quite a bit of tearing, especially indoors where my FPS pegs to 60. I have tried everything I can think of to get V-Sync working. I guess, as far as I can tell, it IS working...however I am getting visual tearing all over the place which is rather disconcerting.

@Boris
Would you say Nvidia could significantly improve their Driver SSAO with HBAO+ now ?
Demonstrations they showed for directly implemented Engine results looked good but not sure how the Driver SSAO would be turning out on Skyrim now compared to your implementation did you do any own Compares yet ?
Or do i understand it right that it is DX11 only and the Driver internally would revert back to the old DX9 HBAO implementation for Skyrim ?
http://www.geforce.com/hardware/technol ... technology
Though i guess anyway it wouldn't be worth it loosing the IL part of your SSAO, though i wonder what would happen if both are enabled ?

Batching means that geometry collapsed in to bigger meshes. Instancing useless with shadows.

If vsync disabled in the enblocal.ini, then only in driver it can be enabled. If vsync enabled in the enblocal.ini, then it enabled only if enabled in skyrimprefs.ini.

I don't care about any other types of ssao/hbao or any other known or not and won't do any comparison, my way is different. What i see on the screenshot of your link looks the same as mine in debug mode. I want to remove it completely and create different algorithm, which fit better to performance of modern hardware (2 years passed and i'm still working with one mod... crap).

Mod don't have GI yet. The other part of question is hard to understand for me, please write differently.does GI work for meshes that have lighting effect and whatnot applied to them?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.231
I only have it enabled in enblocal.ini, not with CCC. I will try through CCC and see if it works that way though. Vsync in enblocal isn't doing it for me.
Edit - Vsync does not work for me by forcing it through drivers, or through enblocal.ini (both used separately during different tests). The only way I can keep my FPS below 200 on loading screens and on the menu is with the FPSlimiter.

As Boris has already mention make sure you have the game V-Sync on in the skyrimprefs.ini to use ENB V-Sync.
skyrimprefs.ini
[Display]
iPresentInterval=1
If it still doesn't work add that line into the skyrim.ini file under the [Display] section and see if it works with it there.
