Re: TES Skyrim 0.407
Would it be possible to have a "Disable Distant Shadows at Night" option so that those who want the buggy shadows can still use them? Personally, ENB Distant Shadows are my favorite effect, night or day.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.407
Just came to login and say this version is... a godsend. I took a break from Skyrim since November, spent so much time on Cities:Skylines, then just six hours ago decided to come back to Skyrim and prepare. Installed .407 and Kwanon, and overall game performance was unusually smooth, thanks to the new memory management stuff you added in.
Again, thank you.
Again, thank you.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.407
Hi Boris,
I have a few questions regarding ENB and rather than make a separate topic for each I thought it better to put them all here instead.
1. When changing ENB binaries and upgrading, are there any issues with left over parameters from older binaries left inside the customweather.ini files. Should unused/unreferenced stuff be removed?
2. I've noticed some ENB customweather.ini files contain stuff that IMO should only be in the enbseries.ini file e.g. TOD ,EnableMultipleWeathers, Color Correction, SubSurfaceScattering etc - Do they cause any problems if these parameters are left in the customweather.ini files or is it best to remove unused stuff? By unused I mean stuff the enbseries file takes exclusive control of and is not multiple weather enabled - im thinking it's pointless having that stuff in the customweather.ini files?
3. Over the years my customweather.inis are no longer arranged alphabetically etc and are a pain to navigate. Is there a program or some way I could batch edit them to tidy them up? All the parameters are in the correct section, but i've got a pile of dusk and dawn stuff at the bottom etc.
4. Regarding Skyrim ENB in general I wondered if it was possible to unlock the big range for ENB ComplexParticleLights. Presently you have it set to .3 which I understand is for performance reasons. Could it be completely unlocked with a special ENB ultra range switch or something? That way authors can control the performance hit. The reason I ask is Sheson has attached ENB particle lights to DynDOLOD FX GlowMesh and the good news is they illuminate LOD meshes. Could be a way to vastly improve Skyrim's Landscape at night through massively improved fake lights in parent worlds.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.407
1. Unused old variables are ignored by the mod, so you can keep old to make your preset compatible with old binaries and new ones.
2. Those parameters are ignored in the weather files. Only time of the day separation is used *dusk, sunrise, day, sunset, dawn, night, interiorday, interiornight. Probably those other parameters left in files because preset makers copied enbseries.ini instead of create new in editor.
3. No software like that which i know. But i sort things for enbseries.ini or enblocal.ini by loading the game, then deleting these files and press "save changes" button, so those values in the memory already and just dumped to files. Most likely weather files in weather editor can be saved similar way, but better make backups and you need to force each weather individually to save.
4. I can make range of lights adjustable, but much bigger than maximal range which exist now - no. The problem is in particles themselves, they get cut off by camera near clipping plane on cpu side by the game engine, so they disappear. If their range is too big, when close enough to them and especially when camera rotates relative to light, their disappearing is annoying. I can try to make their adaptive scaling up by distance, so they would have bigger range if far away, but that's also weird looking thing and most likely particles themselves have such property in their setup.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.407
Hi Boris,
Thank you for all these constructive updates.
Would it be possible to have a "moon glow intensity" in [SKY]?
It already exists for the sun, but i think that a moon glow could be very cool. Included in the weather support to create different moons glow according to the specific weather.
Thank you
