Re: TES Skyrim 0.264
Don't know. I did alpha depth rendering for mist effect only and depth of field is very different, it modify (blur) areas behind transparent objects and themselves. So there is no way to use only one depth to fix issues. Two depth -> very low performance, unless i do effect entirely or someone good in optimization. Not work it i think.

Hmm, maybe it's a particle thing that Mindflux can fix.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.264
No. Even if they will be drawed to depth (don't believe in that, engine is not capable to draw sorted transparent objects to depth from what i see), issue will not be fixed and just produce another artifact, even worse.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.264
The flag banner rope in Solitude had transparency for some reason, and it would get blur out and hollow looking at the foggy weather like c821e. When ENB is off or the "Remove Blur" is enabled, the rope looked solid. BTW, what key(s) do I use with ENB to capture in BW?

Boris
The SubSurfaceScattering section (specifically the parameters related to skin rendering) has a flag for "ignore weather system" but this section is not propagated to the weather ini files. Would it be possible to add this section to weathers so SSS can be configured by weather type?
Different weathers/imagespaces can create lighting conditions that present challenges for character rendering. It seems to me that it would make more sense to have SSS settings to help adjust for these weathers rather than making changes to the overall light setup solely for the purpose of character rendering.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.264
I'm having an issue with the clouds around faraway mountains flickering when it's raining. It's more apparent with ENB rain turned on, but it's flickering with it off as well. If I turn off ENB the issue is gone.
Not sure what's causing it, but I've recently switched from 0.262 to 0.264. It's hard to capture in screenshots but the clouds basically flicker from white to dark grey when viewed through the rain.
EDIT: Switching back to the 0.262 binary fixes the issue, so seems to be something added in 0.264, perhaps in combination with ATI (as always...)?

Boris said "it's current problem of the mist." If you scroll up little from this link, you'll see syklonis reported the same problem.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.264
Thanks, I had missed that. Not sure if it's the same issue as I still have it when disabling mist. I'll try tweaking the volumetric fog settings as Maeldun mentioned it is controlled by it.
EDIT: Changing the volumetric fog settings doesn't help. I'll switch back to 0.262 for the time being, but I'm more than willing to trouble shoot/test out fixes.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.264
Volumetric Fog only allows you to control the intensity and curve. Flickering is likely caused by something else. The 0.264 update included a temporary/trial fix to mist, but if you're seeing the issue with mist disabled, then it's not related to mist. I'd suggest looking at your LODbias settings in enblocal.ini or try refreshing your SkyrimPrefs.ini file to get rid of all crazy (i.e. non-standard) settings to try to identify the cause.Arkngt wrote:Not sure if it's the same issue as I still have it when disabling mist. Re: TES Skyrim 0.264
Just FYI on enabling and disabling Mist. When you uncheck or check the "EnableMist" option, you'll have to do "Save" and "Apply" from the ENB GUI to truly flip that option while in-game without Skryim restart.
