Re: TES Skyrim 0.211

Hi,
I've seen the warning message at the start and I just wanted to report that the italian line is wrong.
Here what should be written:

"Software di terze parti non supportato rilevato! Utilizzare ENBSeries a proprio rischio, NON segnalare bug o reclami mentre il software di terze parti è attivo."

Source: I'm italian

Re: TES Skyrim 0.211

I am not having the warning message, despites a lot of background softs.
I have some tweaks in skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini, but no big things (tweak to shadows and grass, fov to 75, bsa loadings), a rather heavily modded game (150+ mods, with a SKSE plugin (ShowRaceMenu Precache Killer)).

I am using Chidosity ENB v2.

I think 0.211 detects too some background programs like fraps or SPM.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.211

hey,
long time lurker here. I created an account just to to say thank you Boris for your hard work. Your graphic tweaks have extended my gaming experince in so many ways.
I must also say, like many others before, that please dont listen to the folks at Nexus. They are the users for sure. But they should be ignored when most of the comments are questions that have been answerd in the file info or in the sticker post.

Keep up the good work :)

Anyway, is there some sort of log message available that tells me what it has detected? That would be really handy.
Aha, found it. It wasn't liking MSI Afterburner. No warning screen once I'd disabled that. Fortunately it's something I can live without, I think.

Extremely annoying warning, plus it takes longer to load up the game now. :( I'm definitely staying with 209.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.211

Better to have that two second message than to lose the freedom to adapt ENB in whatever way we choose.

+ 1.

Boris has good reasons to make his decisions. These reasons are for the sake of ourselves, users (and to himself, sparing himself struggling weeks for phantom bugs created by 3rd Party Software). So up to you not to track new features anymore, but don't blame Boris and complaint about this ! Besides, if you develop ENB presets, it's quite shamefull for your public.

You can adapt. For example, I moved Lumasharpen from SweetFx to effect.txt. And it works like a charm.

Up to us to port tools we need and to Boris to improve further ENB. We'll avoid bugs and improve perfs of our presets (3rd party softs's use take perfs).

I'm very serious. It's 2 secs (plus 5 seconds to check for ware) = 7 sec x 25 times a day etc. No way.

Also, I am dealing with it - I'm sticking with 209.
